I agree.  Just atrocious decision making

FBT is a total tool and can't believe people even bother to read his post.

When I read the tweet that Bradley got extended I thought it was a joke or something.  This franchise is in a state of emergency.

Caldwell better be careful or he will be looking for a new job soon.  Just insanity.

This is like FBT flipping his burgers the wrong way and still gets a raise.  It's crazy

Its way different due to promotions and relegation, the amount of money in the Premier league, the fact that Fulham are a relatively big club and the fact that there are far more games in the season.

A new manager can be sacked with a bad losing streak in his first season, its just the way it is.

What?  Was it a joke?
Quote:You forgot to make a hilarious ice cream joke. Hilarious I say.
What does Gus and a big bowl of chocolate ice cream have in common?

At the end of the day they both look like crap

You left out the hilarious part, the most important part.

One thing I never noticed about this gif is the guy right behind him makes the same gesture.  Twice.

The beady eyed man on the right with a smirk on his face is an interesting character also.
When Shad Khan said, at the end of the season when he announced Gus would return, that the team had to be in a lot better position this time next year "and Gus understands this" it is clear that he made the ultimatum to Gus. This extension means nothing except to guarantee Gus a paycheck if Shad fires him. And that paycheck will only be in full if Gus does not get hired by another team.

I'm pretty sure the $3.5 million salary is not going to affect Shad's decision to keep him beyond 2016, but it does insure that, should Gus turn a miracle next year, then Shad won't be on the hook for a lot more.

2 more 5-11 seasons. Awesome.

You have confidence that we can repeat 5-11 with a significantly tougher schedule next year?
This just in.   Bradley had stipulations on the deal

1. Unlimited Credit at DQ

2. Ben and Jerry's after every win

3. After a loss no cherries but still get the whipped topping

I understand everyone's loss of words about providing an extension; when the win/loss columns have been anything but glorious. However, what difference does it make? Honestly, if they gave him a 5 year extension, then I'd be scratching my head and wondering what the heck is going on. But the one year extension means nothing unless he produces. It doesn't affect anything. He still is on the hot seat and still can be fired before the season even ends this next season. He knows what he has to do and prove this year; as do we. There's nothing different about today (yesterday) than there was the day before the extension. I know we all over-react sometimes because our team has been the bottom of the poop barrel for a while; but come on. This honestly means nothing........

GO JAGS!!

I'm bumping this thread when we clinch playoffs next year. Some of y'all are ridiculous.

And you can't believe that people read someone else's posts?

Lowest common denominator....
I read the first 2 pages and seen enough crying and whining, that I'm not even going to bother skimming the other 14 pages of this thread..

You guys have completely lost it if you think Caldwell's job is on the line. Me and at least 3 other people on this message board would probably be playing on this team if Caldwell wasn't here. The talent pool on this team was complete garbage.

Also, Gus' job isn't safe and the 1 year extension is meaningless. Shad has been ahead of the curve so far and him adding a year onto Gus' contract makes some sense. It will stop/slow down the talk of him being a lame duck coach on a 1 year contract. Anybody with even half a sense knows that if this team doesn't win this season, he's going to get fired.

I just don't believe the team wants to hear about Gus being on a lame duck, 1 year contract, all season long. I don't believe they want Gus, or any of the staff/players answering, or taking questions about that. All it is, is a distraction to the team.

Personally, I would have preferred if they didn't extend him, but I'm not throwing things around my house because of it. I'm sure a lot of you guys are though.

Stable crap is still crap.
It's better than a 5 year deal.

I think that's my Doctor by his right shoulder, behind him, on the left of the gif.

The guy behind the "3rd and Goal" graphic, doesn't have lips.

You're a complete buffoon if you believe Caldwell didn't have anything to do with this extension.

You can't be angry at Gus without this reflecting on the guy who hired Gus, and has signed off on his every move.
