OK so...
I've been talking to a guy who has provided me with some info from time to time on 3dqb. And even some info on blake.
It hasn't been easy and after talking to him at the same national sports bar and grill 3 different times he hasn't told me if he works there or not. Damn it lol.
But I have and will continue to share some of the things that he shares with me that might be interesting to you.
Tonight I saw him and he saw me at the same time. And he brightened up with a big smile and waved me over.
I walked over to him and he starts right in with....
" after talking to you last week it was obvious to me that you must be a jaguars fan and I have some potentially good news for you. Apparently your boy Blake Bortles had a very minor procedure when this past season was over and has been throwing accurately without discomfort for the last three and a half weeks. A couple of people I've talked to have remarked that he commented he has not felt this good throwing the football since his sophomore year in college"
Last week when I saw him at the same Club we were talking about Blake and I mentuomed the fact that Blake said he had soreness in his throwing arm and fatigue.
So maybe he had some condition that was correctable. And hopefully it's been corrected now.
I really wish I could find out who this guy is and what his association with 3D QB is. The first time I approach this guy I did so because he had an emblem embossed on his polo shirt from 3dqb. And every time I've seen him he's wearing the same style shirt but in a different color.
Also...this is probably going to not be very popular.
even if Blake doesn't do very well next year but does improve from last year I believe they would keep him for 2018.
If he doesn't do well in 2017 we would probably again look at every FA qb and every qb in the draft for options but I still believe we're stuck with him at least halfway through the 2018 season.
If true Jagsfan, sounds like Blake got his shoulder tear fixed/cleaned up. Really isn't too far fetched of an idea. Hopefully this guy is correct and Blake will be a different player this year and moving forward.

I agree with that. A franchise QB is such an incredibly valuable thing, and so difficult to acquire, that if there is any chance at all that Blake can become one, we have to give it a chance. I'm not against taking a flyer on drafting a quarterback in the late rounds and hoping we get lucky, but I still think we have to roll with Blake one more year.

I know he works at 3dqb. He wears polos with the emblem on them every time I see him. But he opened his side of the convo by telling me " I'm not at a liberty to discuss company business".
As a Jaguars fan, my hope is that the reports that Bortles is looking better are accurate. I'm also hoping that the reason for the regression last season had a lot to do with a nagging shoulder issue, and that whatever minor procedure he had done coupled with the training he's doing currently will present us with a new and improved Bortles for 2017, and that he at least gets back to 2015 form. I don't think anyone would have an issue with that.

It kinda sux that I recognized the emblem on his shirt. Cause I'm like consumed with looking for him when I'm athere that bar and grill lol.
Every time I see him he's with a group of what looks like athletes and a few older guys.
But he's the only one wearing the Polo with 3dqb on it and when I see him it's like I just sit there feeling stupid while I watch him waiting for my opportunity to try and talk to him lol.
I feel like a little girl on the front row of a bon Jovi concert. Lol.
I was quite surprised he called me over and started the convo about Blake the last time. after he called me over and spoke to me the last time there was an award silence and his buddies immediately changed the subject and I was left standing there feeling really stupid because I had absolutely no clue about what they were talking about. There's a lot of command presence (if you know what I mean) in that small group. I'm gonna find out who he is. I've already scoured the Internet for 3dqb company pics, twitter pics ect...ect... trying to figure out who he is.
I really hesitated to post any of this at all the first time Because I can't yet be certain it's legit info.
But if you were there to feel the whole encounter you'd probably be as certain as I am that it's legit.
And you'd probably feel sorry for me too lol. I'm definitely the odd guy out.
Idk....but I'm dying to put some legitimacy to this...lol. and if it's true about Blakes procedure and he stays healthy next year...my god...
With all the arrows in different areas for this team pointing straight up for next year if we get the Blake from 2015 we are going to seriously kick some butt

I don't think anyone disagrees with this. We're all rooting for him to be the guy, but I have no emotional attachment to him. It's just funny to me that a new breed of troll has apparently emerged here, lead by SCJ, and that is the Bortles Apologist Troll that gets triggered any time anyone points out the flaws in his game and correctly identifies him as a significant contributor to the L column since he's been here. It's a very strange breed of troll.
I think even a 2015 Blake paired with a top defense and running game would only be able to get us to 9 wins, which I understand we'd all take right now. But if he wants to be our guy in 2 or 3 years and beyond, he's going to have to be better than 2015 Blake and not turn the ball over at the most inopportune times or deep in our own territory or both.

From what I've learned since meeting him and try to figure out who he is 3D QB apparently has over 50 regular employees.

The deck was really stacked against Blake last season. I'm rooting for him and know he can get it done. Hopefully for us jag fans, he does.

I still think hes our guy..
We went from Gabbert to a guy that actually made games exciting to watch. Hes not perfect by any means, but he brought an excitement we were missing for a long time. I do think its funny how he throws ugly balls from the pocket but accurate lasers when on the run.
Seems like alot of people want him to fail. Wheres MJF to tell them what a real fan wants their QB to do??

It is pretty amazing how much better his mechanics/throws are on the move.
