Quote:He doesn't even know who Greg Cosell is, and what it means for him to have written that piece. Cosell is sharp, particularly about QBs. Unlike himself.

Ted was sold as being so "pro ready" but in reality that didn't play out, and it showed on draft day. Those who were wrong are perpetually blaming everyone else for being realistic and honest about it. Ted even used Madden to learn the Vikings playbook. Madden. An NFL "ready" QB.

Let's get this straight, will you take Bortles over Bridgewater??
Quote:Which is exactly what I just said.  "it isn't indicative of anything other than "How much they win or lose" ""

Don't know if you've noticed or not Eric but I haven't been part of this argument other than making fun of your absurdist debate stance.
I haven't really bothered to read this thread, just the last couple pages and those were more than enough for me.

I was absolutely being absurdist in those first couple posts, because that's how I felt about everything that I read in the last couple pages.

Bunch of stupid arguments and debates about trying to compare two QBs, in two different situations. Using some quick logic, it's very easy to see why you shouldn't bother trying, or waste your time comparing them.

One joined a team in a complete rebuild and has been asked to try and carry the team on his back.

The other joined a team that was much farther along. A team that had a great running game and a strong Defense.

The situations are nothing a like at all, except they both play the QB position.

Right , argue with someone who cares man I don't have any skin in this.

I don't either man, I was just bored and skimmed through some of these posts and couldn't hold it in.

Thread got pretty quiet though I see.

And this is coming from somebody who wanted Teddy in the draft and still likes Teddy.

I just don't understand why some people think Teddy is slicing kids up on Sundays and taking over games, or something. They just bring in half told stats to try and get their point across.

Try and use numbers as an example. Trying to dog on Bortles because he's only thrown for over 300 yards once, in a win. But they completely over look, or leave out the fact that Teddy has won more games throwing for less than 200 yards, than hes won by throwing for over 200 yards. Pretty sure the Vikings only have 2 wins when Teddy has thrown for over 300 yards..

Then they try and just use wins as the sole reason, but they don't want to use any common sense and actually look at the two situations they were thrown into.

Sometimes I just want to  Wallbash after reading some of the things on this forum.
Quote:So you saying if Bortles played for the Vikings they would win ? Hmmmmmmmmmm, we both know the answer to that!
A diseased gibbon could have played for the Vikings in 2015 and they would have won.

Yes
Quote:O look Yo boy calling Bortles a drunk with no proof again
He has proof.. Its in a secret vault that only Nicholas cage can get to using a map carved on the presidents desk and a secret decoder ring found in a pyramid in Egypt.
We've been over this plenty. If Blake was on the Vikings in 2015 they wouldn't have won as many games, probably not even made the playoffs. If Teddy was on the Jags in 2015 he wouldn't have thrown 35 touchdowns. Teddy was the better QB for doing what the Vikings were wanting to do, and Blake was the better QB for compiling stats.

The interesting question is which player is able to expand his game to either being the driving force in wins for Teddy's case, or putting up meaningful stats on the way to winning games in Blake's case. The answer for both QBs is still very much unknown.

Nothing but baseless assumptions.
Quote:Yet, has accomplished way more than the much much much better QB in his draft class.

He is a division champion, with 18 wins in 2 years. It hurts you people, we know. Sadly, you can't alter facts.

It's a team game, genius.

It's an assumption yes, but it's hardly baseless.
This thread took an interesting turn..
Quote:What does it take to lock this Damn thread?

Bortles "the Drunkard" Thread coming soon!

Or how about a Yo Boy the dumb [BLEEP] thread?
Quote:Lol its coming..
I'm sure there someone whose sister's cousin's third roommate has an acquaintance who supposedly works in a bar in Jax Beach that can keep everyone up to date on the hot gossip from the Beaches.
Quote:Or how about a Yo Boy the dumb [BAD WORD REMOVED] thread?

Isnt that every thread in which he posts?
Look folks. I live at the beach. Drink like a fish practically daily. Regularly visit many of the bars along the strip. Have never seen him at a bar. Have seen him throwing the football on the beach behind his home.

Now we know why he has the "dead arm" '02 is so convinced about.

Pitchforks, everyone!  Blake was throwing the football too much on his own time!!

Haha @ ya'll defending Theodore Brokenglass.. According to SI, There's still a strong possibility that he won't even play the entire 2017 season. Hell, a lot of league doctors wouldn't be surprised if he ever plays in the league again. Jags dodged a HUGE bullet not taking him. Way too fragile.

We can start that after the Rico the "[BLEEP]" thread!
