Quote:Wow! Where are you getting the white trash label, and racism?? Multiple sources last season have reported seeing Bortles at the bars during the season. Yeah it's cool to drink a beer

Rumors aren't sources.  And Bortles has flatly refuted those rumors. Move on, dude.

But if you are a QB of an nfl team and your team is playing like [BAD WORD REMOVED],no let me rephrase that "You" playing like [BAD WORD REMOVED]!Drinking at the bar is the last thing passionate fans want to hear..

And stop saying people hating on Bortles.. It's called telling it how it is! He was trash last year!
multiple sources with absolutely zero credibility

So we suppose to believe him ?? Lol right!

If I see him at the bar, what I have to be a former player or coach to be credible?? Please! If more then one person said they seen him, why is that not credible enough?

If one or more people see you at a bar, does that make you an alcoholic with a beer belly too?

Edit: I have seen plenty of posts from "yo boy" and he is always trashing white players and advocating bringing in black players. Anyone who has time and energy to waste can go through and see that he always is propping up black players and crapping on the white players. That is where my statement generated from earlier.

If they said "I had a beer belly"and I do. Then Yes!

Is that enough motivation for you?

True, just some fans don't help the cause with their constant negativity, feeding into rumors, and like i said, i have never seen you say anything good about a white player that isnt a QB, David of confederate point...

Quote:Would everyone agree that when Bortles went to California in 2015, he came back much improved over his rookie performance in 2014?

I agree that Bortles has an uphill battle, but we can't overlook 56 TDs in the last two years. Nor can we overlook the performance in his last two games. In the game vs. the Titans, he did everything asked of him. He shined. Let's hope he builds on that.

Totally agree... especially in the 2015 preseason... he absolutely dominated that preseason and his mechanics were intact.

Quote:I find it strange how often fans feel like they need to see some extroverted expression or body language from players or coaches on gameday to trust their head is on straight.

These are individual humans with personalities and they won't alwAys react the way you think they should. That doesn't mean you know what they are thinking.

Blake's coaches and teammates harped on his ultra-competitiveness quite frequently in 2014 and 2015. Not sure how you missed that.

Last year it didn't come up much because he was clearly in a major slump and couldn't find his way out. He "looked" defeated at times - but I find little reason to doubt his resolve.

I'm more concerned about his ability to actually ingrain proper technique until it's second nature.

Bortles knows what he's talking about in interviews and it shows. I find myself hanging onto every word at times when he talks. It's hard to put my finger on it, but he can be very inspiring. Now I agree he's not overly emotional, he's not one to yell at and correct his teammates on the field (although it's typically only GOAT candidates like Manning and Brady you see this from), and that he often exhibits bad body language, but I don't see any of this as a knock on his ability to lead, and I'd rather him focus on correcting football issues than minor issues such as interview body language.

You starting sound like Pirkster... Stating my name and past residence.. What you guys get a kick out of that kind of stuff? Those 3 white players and Poz are the only players I ever stated things about.. Matt Jones too! If my opinion of them aren't pleasant to you, then maybe you should check yourself.. Nothing is personal to me.. But It's more then,Obvious by you stating my name that it is to you.

Now that your post has been edited, I can respond. This year he has quite a bit to prove ON THE FIELD!!! Pretty sure Blake, or anybody not named Yo Boy, gives a damn about your so called sources.
Quote:This definitely seems like what you are doing.  ^

If a team is trailing in the 2nd and 3rd quarter (by ten or more) but within one score in the 4th -- calling the production in the 2nd and 3rd quarters "garbage time" is asinine.

He racked up some substantial passing numbers "playing from behind."  But a rather small number in "garbage time."

It's really a very simple distinction.
Love how the "garbage time" crap comes up all the time, yet Brady was a "mastermind" bringing New England back from 400 down in the fourth quarter. Depends on the agenda I guess.
