If you can't tell the difference between a guy with a blog on the internet (amateur hour) and a published scientist (professional), that's on you. I can't fix stupid, sorry.
Quote:Yeaaaa....about that. Let me know when the blogger gets published and we can reconvene.

In the meantime, suck on this one.

<a class="bbc_url" href='http://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2015-10-05/citigroup-citing-climate-change-will-reduce-financing-for-coal'>http://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2015-10-05/citigroup-citing-climate-change-will-reduce-financing-for-coal</a>

So, we should suck on an article that says a company that is heavily invested in the Clinton campaign, and has consistently supported left leaning candidates and their ideals is some sort of validation?  That's your great come back?  Pathetic, but not unexpected.  You alarmists must deliver a response like this in order to perpetuate the sham.

The guy you're dismissing.  Did you bother to read his resume?  He's not just a guy with a blog, but hey, whatever you need to do to keep that fantasy alive.

If he's amateur hour, then the models he helped put together to create the metrics you and other hysterical lemmings curl up with a night as you suck your collective thumbs telling yourself man made global warming is real.  He went back and researched the calculations and found a flaw.  Should I take your word for it, or his?  Let's see.  I'm going with the blogger on this one because he's got the credentials to support his premise.  You?  You probably put on your Captain Planet PJs at night and re-read Al Gore's book for the 100th time every night.

Dzmn, your reading comprehension must be around that of a 1st grader.

Yeah, this.
Quote:Yeah, this.

Captain Planet was a great tv show. That Native American kid with the heart ring was completely useless tho. What was even ever there for?
"Dr Evans is an expert in Fourier analysis and digital signal processing, with a PhD, and two Masters degrees from Stanford University in electrical engineering, a Bachelor of Engineering (for which he won the University medal), Bachelor of Science, and Masters in Applied Maths from the University of Sydney."

Without taking sides here, I think it's quite clear that Dr. Evans is clearly more credentialed than your average "blogger".

Electrical engineer. Who literally runs a blog. Who. Cares.

"A former climate modeller for the Government’s Australian Greenhouse Office, with six degrees in applied mathematics"

As FBT said, he's one of the guys who created what you use to insist that AGCC is real. Now that he's saying, "that's not quite right" it's "who cares?" from the sheep pen.

BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

Bro, stop projecting. One of us is accepting a harsh reality. The other is being coddled by politicians. Who is the sheep again? By the way, your pen is being tended by wolves.

I did have a nice lamb vindaloo last night so there is that.

His point is valid. There is no reason to be discrediting Dr. Evans.

He's a heretic now, time to warm up the kindling.

Until he gets a peer reviewed research paper published in the subject, there is absolutely no reason to credit him anything.

Another day, another climate milestone
Another presidential election cycle, another composite average that will have to be revised in 20 years.

In other news there were snow flurries in Florida last year.

Hey man, imhoffe had a whole snowball in congress once, don't forget.
If someone has an alternative fuel source that can replace conventional fossil fuels then give me a call.

As of right now, most technology is less efficient than fossil fuels and that means that it will actually take the consumption of more goods services and natural resources to bring these fuels sources to market.  This means that you will actually increase the amount of fossil fuels consumed and CO2 emitted to implement the solutions that your side advocates OR an inordinate drop in the average standard of living for citizens of this country (while the third world begins to technologically enter the global middle class and consume more goods.)

This isn't about short term blips of data or making ourselves feel like we are part of something.

You have to MATHEMATICALLY PROVE that there is a catastrophic problem.  (There have been times in the history of the earth where there were no ice caps at all and life on the planet thrived and no one was driving hummers.)  You also have to MATHEMATICALLY PROVE that the solutions that you propose will avert the problem as wells as show how they will be sustainable over time.

for 36 pages of alarmism and ranting you haven't done that and the AGC community hasn't done that.  All we see is a blind march to a command control economy that has been proven that it cannot manage resources efficiently.
