This is a better explanation than Screwdriver has come up with.

My apologizes. lol

You do realize the referees checked the 12 balls before the game and they were all correct. From the time they checked them and halftime, someone had deflated them.

So let me fix your analogy. I park my car on a hill, someone whos job it is to check my car is legal and secured correctly does so and it checks out fine. Someone then tampers with the car and it is no longer secure. Later my car rolls over someone and it was found that the brakes were tampered with after by someone that was an accomplice with the driver.

In the long run, its the teams fault because they hold responsibility over all their employees.

I'm trying to figure out why you are so die hard against the Patriots doing this. Did you once root for the Patriots, or are you from New England?

No one is denying the balls were deflated, that has been proven. We are debating on the "how". Again, show me evidence that they did it, its that simple. You say the team holds responsibility over their employees...which is implying that one of their employees had something to do with it....so just show me which one.

I dont care one single bit about the Patriots. I hope whoever was involved gets the punishment they deserve. I'll just wait until some evidence supporting that comes out before sentencing someone. Crazy way to do things huh?

Gotta be a bit more careful when attempting to be condescending. Carry on...
Whenever you have no argument, go for spelling errors to strengthen your case!

Got destroyed in an argument? Attack the poster and or point out spelling errors to win!!!

Its the car owners fault right, they surely are the ones who tampered with the brakes after they were checked to be fine. No further evidence needed right?
You need to fix your terrible analogy first.

There isn't anyone who checks your car after you park it in the street. Where do you manufacture this garbage ? You're all nonsense. The car is your responsibility. Period.

Stupid is as stupid does

Some footballs were under-inflated. Why where they under-inflated? Who under inflated them? When did it happen, where did it happen, how did it happen?

So right now, Who gets punished for what?
Anyone? Again, these small details should be easy to answer.

But oh so convenient it gets skipped over. Smile

Read that over a few times until you understand it, then return to the argument.

So if the balls were in New England's possession from the time they were checked until halftime when they were checked again....does it matter?

At that point you have to punish the team and the team can find out who did it internally and punish them. From Belicheck's reaction, he didnt seem too shocked that this was coming up.

Edit: You haven't responded to numerous points I've made, so responding to your own posts and asking for a response is pretty dumb.

DANG!! Dictionary burn! Things are really heating up!

Yeah.... but entertaining. Smile

Let's modify the dog analogy so it makes more sense and is more germane to the topic.

You take your dog to a kennel to be looked after and cared for while you go on a trip. You are trusting that establishment to take care of the dog while you are away. You check the dog before leaving and he is healthy and happy. When you return you find that the dog is malnourished and near death.

So... do you blame the kennel where the dog was supposed to be cared for, or... do you just say, well, I have no idea who didn't feed the dog so no one should be accountable?

Im glad you posted that. You needed it. There's nothing similar between your made up story and the Patriots.

I think it's sad you feel that you're not responsible for what is yours. Blame someone else. It's easier. Don't take responsibility for your own. Those folks are the dregs of society.

Comically, yes.

I have destroyed you with my own analogy, then took yours and destroyed you again. Its that simple. You have no retort and are now stuck with personal attacks. Smile

Quote:@AdamSchefter says on @SportsCenter that from what he has been told, Bill Belichick had no knowledge of deflated footballs. Also told NFL is having a hard time finding evidence in this case.

EVIDENCE? WE DON'T NEED NO STINKING EVIDENCE!

In case you missed it above (with a few changes):

Let's modify the dog analogy so it makes more sense and is more germane to the topic.

You take 12 puppies to a kennel to be looked after and cared for while you go on a trip. You are trusting that establishment to take care of the dogs while you are away. You check the dogs before leaving and they are healthy and happy. When you return, the puppies are still under the care of the kennel and you find that 11 out of 12 of them are malnourished and near death.

So... do you blame the kennel where the dogs were entrusted, or... do you just say, well, I have no idea who , why, when, where or how they were underfed so no one should be accountable?

Quote:I have destroyed you with my own analogy, then took yours and destroyed you again. Its that simple. You have no retort and are now stuck with personal attacks. Smile

Again:

Anyone? Thats what I thought Smile
Your the only one who thinks so. Myself and 3-4 others disagree. Hmmmm.....Ha!

Again, knowing that you feel you're not responsible for what's yours makes this argument make a lot more sense.

So Screwdriver likes to bump his own posts, but wont respond to one of the most valid points in this whole thread. Interesting.
