You just called someone Hitler for having a different opinion than you do.
This explains it all.

Either way it goes, I think we can all agree that its dumb to give the balls back to the home team for any amount of time before the game. If it was important enough to have a procedure to check them, then they should be kept under watch until the game starts. Anyone that would try to alter the footballs would obviously make them legal for when the ref checks them, then do what they want afterwards.

Use your brain and you might figure it out. People who don't play dumb can foresee what the NFL will do.

I know in your head you somehow think you are 100% right here, but belittling people and trying to act like you're smarter than them does nothing to help your cause.

Quote:Because my analogy was pertaining SPECIFICALLY to "its the patriots footballs so they are responsible". Therefor my analogy was, "its your lawn so its your problem." Its not my fault if you cant follow the conversation. The lawn and owning the dog are not the same as the Patriots possession of the balls.

Then tell me why you are too thick headed to put common sense into your argument. This will be my last response to you because if this how discussions with you go, there is no point.
I like to reflect on the good times of this post:
The footballs were checked and were fine (so were the dogs in my analogy), they were then placed in the care of the patriots (the dogs were placed in the care of the kennel) and later after the patriots being responsible for the balls (and the kennel for the dogs) the balls (dogs) were underinflated (malnourished). Tell me again how your analogy fits better?

He is unable to comment because the NFL has not told him what to think yet.

It's funny all the crap you post about FSU in other threads, but somehow are able to find a pass for this.
Everyone does it. Brad Johnson just admitted he paid money to have footballs altered when he won his Superbowl. Its a long standing thing that everyone does.
I've played football for a long time, never in the NFL. But this is one thing I know that happens everywhere.

Until then, I'll wait for the evidence that says either way.

If you or anyone else cant understand this thought process, then there is no need to continue this conversation. Its that simple, no dog analogy needed.

Brad Johnson paid to have them scuffed/worn in. Not deflated. Not everybody deflates the balls.
