That simple analogy DESTROYED the argument that "its the Patriots balls so they are guilty". Again, I can explain it to you but I cant understand it for you.

You can't be that thick. The dog in your story was never in my possession at any given point. It wasn't given to me before he died, the homeowner was never responsible for the dog.

 

Balls are checked by the refs and then given to the Patriots. From that point on it is the Patriots to deal with. If something happens it is on the organization as a whole.

Exactly, it was the Patriots footballs from that point on. They were given them.

That is like saying you are not responsible for anything that is yours, or that you own.

 

If your car is parked on a hill and you forget to secure it properly and that car rolls over someone, then you are saying you are not responsible. That is your logic right now.

I'll fix your analogy.  I park my car on a hill, someone whos job it is to check my car is legal and secured correctly does so and it checks out fine. Later my car rolls over someone and it was found that the brakes were tampered with after.

 

Its the car owners fault right, they surely are the ones who tampered with the brakes after they were checked to be fine. No further evidence needed right?

aka, the guy destroyed every one of my arguments and I have no way to counter any of it, so ill just stick my fingers in my ears and scream "lalalalal" until I have won the argument.

You do realize the referees checked the 12 balls before the game and they were all correct.  From the time they checked them and halftime, someone had deflated them.  
 
So let me fix your analogy.  I park my car on a hill, someone whos job it is to check my car is legal and secured correctly does so and it checks out fine.   Someone then tampers with the car and it is no longer secure.  Later my car rolls over someone and it was found that the brakes were tampered with after by someone that was an accomplice with the driver.
 
In the long run, its the teams fault because they hold responsibility over all their employees.
 
I'm trying to figure out why you are so die hard against the Patriots doing this.  Did you once root for the Patriots, or are you from New England?
