By simple definition, a decision or position that is reached while excluding factual support and based solely on your pre-existing world view it has nothing to do with common sense, and everything to do will willful ignorance and prejudice.  

 

If you want to remain willfully ignorant and go on record saying that you're too lazy to read a couple paragraphs to make a counter point that's your prerogative, just don't give me this B.S. about common sense.

 

And there is a difference between being expendable and being guilty.  There is also a difference between admitting legal or procedural defeat and being guilty.  But hey, that's just common sense.

The text thread that you are referring to clearly states that it was the officials responsibility, (starting off with the refs BLANKED US.) and then stating that they didn't recheck them after they inflated them.  This is corroborated by the fact that after the Colts Game one of the footballs for the Pats was a pound over what the Pats would have requested and was actually outside the legal limit (13.65 PSI if i recall).  

 

Again, we don't have enough information and data to determine just how clinical or casual the refs were before this incident to discuss it rationally.  Aaron Rogers clearly stated that they like to give them the balls with air over the limit and see if they take it out. I think it's perfectly plausible that in addition to the PSI drop from weather you just have a simple case of 12.39...  ok tha's close enough or in aarons case, 13.95 ahhhh close enough or in the case of the Jets game another refs prerogative may be 12.39 means add air but they just didn't recheck the gauge.  That's why, in my opinion, if the league can focus so much effort on moving the kick off up five yards, and the extra point back 13 yards that they should be able to put in place basic protocols to form a baseline for the measurements of PSI to more accurately determine if we're dealing with weather, ref error, or manipulation.

So they became expendable only after all this mess, their texts. Makes complete sense. Absolutely. Not fall guys whatsoever. It is true that common sense is certainly becoming less common.

Brady's out there on a limb, with Kraft and Belichick working the saw and Goodell in the shark tank below.  I suspect this is Brady's last season, what with age, the mistrust of his owner, coach, and teammates, the constant badgering from opposing teams and fans, and oh yes, the reduced effectiveness of using a regulation NFL football.

1 game doesn't matter.  The softer ball helps most in cold and wet conditions.  The ratio of Patriot turnovers should increase markedly in 2015.

328 yds 4 tds and 100+ passer rating is pedestrian?

 

You think balls you have no evidence were under inflated having half a pound more air in them would have helped the ravens diagnose formations that they nor the league had ever seen before?
