i feel like he presses to make the big plays cuz he knows it wont happen whether its thru the running game or his defense, he knows if jaguars are going to win its gonna be because of his arm

Bortles should not be the focus of our anger. Dude is a franchise qb... take the good with the bad. Bortles really needs to work under an offensive minded head coach, and he needs a better offensive line in front of him. Bortles is getting killed out there.

And you don't take a guy at #3 and then bin him after a season and a half because he throws more turnovers than you'd like. It's called long term vision, Bortles is far and away the best option at QB at this point, he has made tremendous improvements from last year, every single one of his stats is better than last year and he's keeping us in games longer and even putting together game winning drives. The fact he makes mistakes is something we'll have accept untilhe finds a way to get rid of them. Until then, we're better off improving the defense or the offensive line.

H'e also making some bad decisions when he needs to just tuck it or chuck it out of bounds.

 

Knowing when your beat on any given play is huge in the maturation of a QB, fanchise or not.

Think about this:  Fish was his OC last year.  He still progressed with Olsen.  

 

It's time to dump Bradley, and get a HC that can figure stuff out.  Whether that's with Olsen or not, it doesn't matter.

 

What matters is having a HC that understands how to execute and provide opportunities to success for all 3 aspects of the NFL game.

 

Bradley has no idea how to be successfull in the offensive game.  Bradley has no idea how to be successfull in the special teams.  Bradley is suppossed to understand success in the defense,...  But it's clear he has no idea how to coach defenses either.

 

It's time to fire that loser.  Gus Bradley is garbage.  He's the worst HC in the NFL.  Mularkey is a better HC than Bradley.  Let that sink in.  We have a head coach in Beer Gut Bradley that sucks worse than Mike Mularkey.

 

Fire his sorry butt.  He's terrible.  There is nothing I can say that can express how much of a worthless coach that tool is.  He's the worst head coach I've ever seen.  Fire him.

But the turnovers aren't his only problem. He is arguably the most inaccurate QB in the league, is a poor decision maker, struggles tremendously in the red zone, and is horribly inconsistent. He's a capable QB but it doesn't seem like he will ever be the guy he was drafted to be. He's just another guy.

This is true, he isn't consistent in decision making. I expect that to get better. Dude has shown enough to be patient on. He will make some amazing plays, and he will make his bone headed decisions. As the experience grows, the decision making will improve.


I'm sure getting sacked 6 times and facing pressure all game wouldn't help him.

I just hope the Khan takes the "glasss half empty" approach and fires him and not the "glass half full".....likes the "progress" and keeps him.

I've blamed Gus for every loss thus far but this is not on him. Bortles fumble turnover in the redzone was bad along with the Marshall fumble. Not on him. And believe me I want to blame him badly

And he's still headed for the single best year for a Jaguars quarterback ever, by a mile.
