Newton yes, Luck maybe, Wilson= glorified game manager.
Let's not forget the two dropped TDs today

Replace Bortles with Teddy please..

Quote:Kicker missed 26 yrd field goal and Walters dropped a TD pass.

Guess you missed that though.

Blake suffered a few drops. He had a beauty hit Marquis right in the hands and dropped, Marcedes had a blatant drop, and ARob had a couple early drops.

Bortles had a bad game. Who cares. We won.

He missed Lewis on a wide open TD but he also made some big time throws. Was it his best game? Not by any means. But the W is all that matters.

Quote:There were more ints dropped by defenders than by wrs. You guy must have missed all the throws that were behind or too high to catch. Or maybe missing wide open guys and forcing throws in to coverage. Or taking sacks unnecessarily because he got skittish in the pocket. This is arguably one of the worst defenses in the nfl and the jags were gifted 4 turnovers and timely flags but we're onky able to out up 22 points. How about his continued struggles in the red zone? How about the fact that he is the worst qb in the leagur on 3rd down? Mariota gets knocked for blowing up a weak defense but bortles looks like Gabbert out there against one of the worst defenses and you guys want to crown him? It's hilarious.

How did Mariota look today?

Since piggy won't chime in on this HS, I will answer it for you.

The Mariota-led offense could only muster a measly 10 points while Bortles, on a bad day, had 2 TDs/1 INT and a WIN.

Oh, and you can't trust a tack to understand math.

22 points > 10 points.

Win > Loss.

Actually he is NOT the worst QB in the league on third down. Where do you pull these stats? Your rear? He's better than Ryan Tannehill, Nick Foles, Alex Smith, Peyton Manning Aaron Rodgers, and more currently.

<a class="bbc_url" href='http://stats.washingtonpost.com/fb/leaders.asp?type=Passing&range=NFL&rank=098'>http://stats.washingtonpost.com/fb/leaders.asp?type=Passing&range=NFL&rank=098</a>
I like how we were "gifted" 4 turnovers too.

Spoken like a true tack.

Before Carolina put the game away he was 11-18 118 and a pick. 7 completion s and 65 yards in garbage time.

Sounds nice. Baconator must be proud.

He struggled. I'm not sure what else anyone would expect against an elite defense without his best WR (his WR2 was injured in 4th quarter). My question is how can anyone watch Bortles play today and claim he is a top 12 QB in the league? This is arguably the worst defense in the league that has been light up by the likes of McCown (457 yards 2 TDs) and Kapernick (340 yards 2 TDs) and he looked like Gabbert out there completing 48% at 4.1 YPA.

Sorry, he's better than Winston, a rookie QB.

You're an idiot. Go back. It only showed the top twentyin the initial link. Click each conference link. It shows he's better than a host of other QBs.

You're an idiot. You didn't hear them mention during the broadcast that he has the worst completion % on 3rd down?

Because networks never get stats wrong...

That doesn't mean he's the worst QB on third down. Silly boy.

But yet he has a good percentage of getting first downs on third down. That takes into account in sure of his running plays as well. Stats can tell whatever story you want. You clearly just showed your bias when instead of actually researching the link you took a cursory glance and immediately said he Is only better then Winston, when it was clear if you did actually research he wasn't. You literally have an agenda and are a troll

Sure, so maybe I got some bad info. Still doesn't excuse his Gabbertesque performance today, that's very unlike a top 12 QB in the league.
