Me too. I'm guessing this is some kind of stimulus package from Khan.

And I worked damn hard for that 'Least Respected Poster' award. Not going to win it in the politics section.  Big Grin

LOL ....  the twitter poster is too dumb to realize Fox is MSM as well.  What an idiot.

When did CNN, The New York Times or any other liberal media outlet broadcast this?

I would be glad to exchange private messages regarding what you mean by good faith. I'd like to meet your definition, if it's attainable.

I do give stuff from wikipedia to support my opinions, and I also appeal to my personal experience, if it applies.  I do use the same tone for each, but, I also try to plainly indicate which is which. If you catch me making an assertion without telling you where the info came from, just ask.  I wouldn't hide it.

As far as the checks, they have been promised, but I haven't seen them yet.  As an old comrade once said, "we pretend to work, and they pretend to pay us."

Do Svidaniya!
They will probably let the 4 cops walk and charge the bystanders with murder. Whatever will cause the most riots.

What is the left going to do? He had the coronavirus, so is his death caused by coronavirus virus just like all the other deaths they blamed on coronavirus? This death could invalidate all those other causes of death, hospital payouts, etc. I didn't see this twist coming. He also had meth, fentanyl, thc, and more in his blood. This is looking more and more like manslaughter.
If you are going to link UK media. Daily Star is bottom of the barrel so would be careful of that.

Glad you stuck around for a little while.

It is actually torn up, burned, and buried 6 feet under the barrel, that's how low it is.

I highly doubt they have the big scoop on this one.
I humbly apologize to the great British institution that is the Daily Star, the news of Floyd testing positive for corona-virus is now also being reported elsewhere:

"George Floyd had coronavirus, according to autopsy
Floyd tested positive for coronavirus, according to a full autopsy report released by the Hennepin county medical examiner’s office. The report noted that the virus was not a contributing factor in his death and that Floyd was asymptomatic."
Not good news.

Ellison stepped in and screwed the pooch.

While it was the right move to charge the remaining officers, he just let the killer off the hook by raising the charges beyond what was obtainable.

This piece of garbage is going to walk now, all due to Ellison. The country will burn again because of this fool when acquitted. Best chance is the lower charges remain, and they can still nail him with 3rd even if 2nd doesn't stick (and most likely won't.)

Not a good situation at all. I was on a double murder jury where this very thing happened. It took several mistrials to convict. This jury will be hung or acquit if they insist on 2nd alone.

I agree. The charges for the other three sound right, and I wonder what took so long.  I hope the three of them are tried as a group, because it would have only taken one of them to get up and check the pulse.  One of them takes that responsibility and none of this makes the news. If you try them separately, each of them will say the other guy should have done it.
I think the public will accept if all four of them serve some time, perhaps a year each. They might wish the main guy served more time, but, like you said, a "not guilty" result is unacceptable.

I could be wrong, but he's still charged with manslaughter. Those were the charges before the upgrade. I don't believe they dropped it.

That said, I've always been annoyed by the state charging two crimes for one. The state should only be allowed one version of one event to bring before a jury. In this case, are they considering manslaughter a separate event? Two people didn't die.

This goon clearly killed Floyd. Let's all hope he pays for it. Hope the DA gets it right.
They're saving the acquittals for right before the election.

Trayvon all over again.  Ellison is a big fan of Antifa.  Perhaps he is hoping the city burns some more.

Considering the echo chamber this board has become, being the least respected contributor could be worn as a badge of honor.
