The Hennepin County medical examiner autopsy report said the cause of his death was “cardiopulmonary arrest complicating law-enforcement subdual restraint, and neck compression.”

While also stating his lungs were filled with fluid due to his own health problems and drug use and contributed to his death.

It's a political autopsy report.

What exactly is political about an autopsy report? Are you saying something in the report was fabricated? If so, what do you think it was and what are your qualifications to make that evaluation? Did you examine the body?

Sounds like you've got an agenda of your own you're pushing.

Was the neck compression caused by a knee or perhaps the position that he was in?

Contrary to popular belief, Floyd didn't die because an officer had his knee on his neck/shoulder.  He basically died of a drug overdose.  The knee to the neck/shoulder didn't cause him to go into cardiac arrest, it was the drugs that he consumed.

At the VERY most the officer might be convicted of manslaughter for failing to render medical aide in a timely manner, and even that could be challenged since Floyd refused to cooperate.  It was by no means a murder.

Either way portions of the country are going to explode when the verdict comes in.  There will be more "mostly peaceful protests" (according to the state controlled media) consisting of rioting, looting, burning and all out destruction.
Dude was going to die anyway, but LEOs did themselves (and their fellow LEOs) no favors by not allowing that off duty EMT to render aid. That is where I have a problem with the officers involved. There is a point where they know Floyd is under control and they could have let that EMT check him regardless of an EMS unit being enroute. It doesn't matter his level of consciousness as long as he's under control and not a threat to himself or anyone else. LET THE EMT CHECK HIM YOU FREAKING MORON.

Stating that law enforcement actions caused the death. The report should include the facts of the autopsy only, not going and watching a video before you do the autopsy and then saying that caused the death.

Just state he died from x, y, z and let the jury make their mind up on if his knee was on his neck.

Are you talking about the off duty fire fighter lady? I don't think the cops just let random strangers into crime scenes like that lol

I agree with this take. 4 cops subduing a resisting detainee are not about to let some rando out of a hostile crowd jump into the action.

All he had to do was stop kneeling on the handcuffed dude's neck. Or check the man's pulse for himself.

All he had to do was not have a criminal history of violence, get hopped up on fentanyl, try to pass counterfeit money, fight with cops for 10 minutes, and force his way out of the backseat of the cop car.

Ah yes the old, "he hit me first!" argument.

Screw around with the law or the cops and bad things happen, that people still don't understand this basic fact of life is why we can't have a civil society and need the cops in the first place.
George Floyd had Covid. Case dismissed.

None of those things sound like they qualify for a death penalty. I realize that conservatives may disagree though.

Does anyone really think that Floyd would have died that day if not for the encounter with law enforcement? I'd agree it wasn't an intentional act but it was at a minimum, manslaughter due to negligence.
It's reasonable doubt.
I love all the Monday morning cops on here about what he should have done.

Prosecution overplayed their hand and let the MSM feed into their case, and because of that, nothing happens.

If I was on the jury I may say that.

Need to be prepared because stuff is happening either way. Hopefully Florida will be saved from it.

Yes, Floyd was a time bomb hopped up on his drugs out committing crimes. The Reaper was waiting in the wings.
We need some civil unrest here in Jacksonville. Homey has his eye on a nice tool cabinet at Harbor Freight. And maybe a fifth of hooch at a local ABC.

Don't get me wrong, my desire to obtain through larceny is strictly entrenched in the cause of social justice. Plus, why should Minnesota get all the "discounts"?
Perhaps Boeing should hire this Defense Team. They could claim the 62 passengers that died in the Jakarta plane crash on January 9, 2021 died of Covid-19 or some other medical issue (e.g. MS, Allergies, High Cholesterol, High Blood Pressure, Cancer, etc.) that any one of them may have been dealing with in the recent months leading up to the crash.
Weak. You clearly aren't watching this trial.
