Get your lootin shoes ready, no matter the verdict..
My husband works in the city where one of Floyd's sisters lives and where one of his many funeral services were held, and he's hoping crap doesn't hit the fan. There weren't a boatload of protests or riots there, at least not to the degree there was last year in other cities, but anything less than a guilty verdict and life in prison might be problematic there.

The National Guard better be on stand by because it's going to get ugly if a lesser verdict than the one above is handed down.

ETA: well they found him guilty.
A show trial to make Comrade Stalin proud.

Until the inevitable overturn by the Supreme Court.

Blatant jury interference by the highest office of power in the United States.

Easy overturned verdict. Sad.

EDIT: Though honestly, it's all planned.. They know their interference will make the Supreme Court overturn the verdict 3 years from now... then Biden or Kamala will promise Supreme Court reformations to be voted on by the masses.......
I doubt this makes it to the Supreme Court.
Then our entire system of justice is broken.

War. Lets go.
I haven’t seen anything about this posted on here yet, so forgive me if it’s a repeat.

You mean the U.S. MSM wasn’t all over this?

I’m shocked!
Chauvin will end up walking after an appeal.

I think the murder charges will be dropped and the manslaughter conviction sticks.

You think both the 2nd and 3rd degree murder charges will be dropped? If so, that manslaughter charge carries a max of only 4 years.

The sentencing is still 6 weeks away I believe. I'd imagine more of this type of thing will be uncovered before then, making this even more of a circus.

Or at least the 3rd degree charge.

Were I his lawyer, appeal and retrial would be delayed for as long as possible to allow things to cool down.
So does lying to the court about never being involved in a protest carry a perjury charge?

Only if you're a SWM.

A good question for Jags' wife. She's a lawyer IIRC.

So awesome the MSM jumped on the "NO APPEALS POSSIBLE" story. haha. Pathetic.
From the article:

Mitchell said he answered 'no' to two questions about demonstrations.

The first question asked: 'Did you, or someone close to you, participate in any of the demonstrations or marches against police brutality that took place in Minneapolis after George Floyd's death?'

The second asked: 'Other than what you have already described above, have you, or anyone close to you, participated in protests about police use of force or police brutality?'

Mitchell told Nelson during jury selection that he had a 'very favorable' opinion of Black Lives Matter, that he knew some police officers at his gym who are 'great guys,' and that he felt neutral about Blue Lives Matter, a pro-police group.

He flat out lied. There should definitely be a penalty of some sort laid against him. I don't know what could be done at this point but he should be held accountable for lying.
You guys can't be serious, Chauvin HAD to be guilty. Nothing else mattered regardless of what it took to get that verdict. By ANY means necessary.

Perjury charge and punishment is he pays for the new trial. When he can't pay, garnish his wages for 10-20 years.
