Childish sentimental drivel. Dont put your knee on the guys neck. There. Reform done.
There is a line for officers. They should never cross it. But that line cant be about making them impotent when they have to confront the dregs of humanity on a daily basis in a game of life and death.
Drivel is a bit rich coming from a guy who continues to prattle on about nutmeg, DB coaches and hockey players.
As for the childish accusation. Yes, I think my observations are so clear and obvious that even a child can see the truth in them... And the real silver lining of this unfortunate situation is that young people, of every possible background, are seeing the truth and want to do something to change it. I am really getting a sense that the last week has been a turning point. You guys, with your out-dated views are being pushed out of the conversation. I understand why this riles you up so much, it must sting to know you are getting left behind.
TRUTH? TRUTH?
Hands up....

In a similar light, the rioters are more than a handful of those among the "peaceful" protesters. It's not about race and the deadly riots are based on a lie.
Anyone, care to respond to this? Flsprtsgod? JJ? Jagwired?
I'm a libertarian conservative. I fully support accountability of the state. Public sector unions cause all kinds of problems, this is one of them.
Looking at the officer’s face who had his knee on Floyd’s neck was the closest thing to seeing Satan kill someone.

The people looting and rioting (which, again, I condemn) are citizens commiting criminal acts, they have taken no oath to "protect and serve". The police officers commiting brutal acts against citizens have taken that oath; they are meant to be the ones who enforce the laws, not break them. They are meant to be the ones to protect ALL Americans. Hence the increased level of outrage when the very people that are supposed to uphold the law are the ones who commit heinous acts of violence against citizens.
Excuses excuses.
I'm still waiting for you to explain to everybody exactly who I am making excuses for, and what those excuses are exactly.
Or did you realize that you're talking [BLEEP] and you answered with a good-to-go party line instead of actually reading what I wrote?
Dumb question. What is it that everybody is donating money to exactly?

False equivalence is a cop out. Your platform in these talks is a fraud, and you insist that others ignore proven fact in order to support your acts of civil disobedience. You have a grudge, we get it. Your grudge is misplaced.

You've been answered repeatedly, your grudge blinds you to fact. Sad.

Lol it's actually funny how you are continuing to say 'you've been answered' while continuing to, y'know, not answer the two specific questions I asked you.

Is JagJohn committing civil disobedience?
The idea that police treat minorities differently is not a fraud. Stop and frisk in NYC only ended about 6 years ago. During the trials that ultimately ended with rulings against the policy, we all learned how unevenly and unfairly it was applied. None of us should doubt that there are similar policies in other places that have yet to get national attention.

I know, and the casual way he just calmly stayed on Floyd's neck, hands in pocket. All of those cops watching and participating, not caring that they were being recorded.

Could you try to be even more vague?

It's his main tactic though.
Step 1: respond with a seemingly unconnected comment
Step 2: wait for a response
Step 3: wow everyone with his incredibly deep explanation that 100% proves his point
My guess it's a tactic he developed in college to make him seem interesting. If all else fails, being contrarian will always get that sweet attention.

Step 3 wouldn't be necessary if people could answer step 2. Nothing wrong with asking someone to think. And nothing wrong with explaining yourself when someone fails to do so.

Barely.
I'm sure the rest will be returned to the donors or perhaps the families of other people who were wrongfully murdered.
This fund is established to cover funeral and burial expenses, mental and grief counseling, lodging and travel for all court proceedings, and to assist our family in the days to come as we continue to seek justice for George. A portion of these funds will also go to the Estate of George Floyd for the benefit and care of his children and their educational fund
Who cares.
Let me rephrase. This seems like a useless road to go down. What is the point?
