So, I am guessing you do not??
Quote:How is it stupid?  I want the number one pick.
Its stupid because you said you want the Bills to beat the Bucs. We need TAMPA BAY TO WIN!
yeah i meant Tampa to win lol
Quote:How is it stupid?  I want the number one pick.

If you want the #1 pick, you want Tampa Bay to win. Buffalo is one of the few games Tampa Bay has a real chance of winning. Therefore, it is stupid to want the Bills to beat the Buccaneers.

It sucks that we have to root for the NFL's worst coach.

Guys, i'm gonna give you the straight poop on my bucs right now...

No one in our fanbase likes our coach.

we have a diseased headquarters crawling with the MRSA virus

Our run game is out.

Mike Williams is out

Vincent Jackson is living in the twilight zone

We're using the best man to man CB of the past decade in Zone

Donald Penn is fat and can't play

Our DC is a total [BLEEP] who can't even own up when fans show up at 5AM to help him plan at HIS request

and our GM can't even be arsed to stay in the building beyond 4pm.

You guys have a new ownership and a good coach that inherited a bad team...our team is full of years worth of bad drafting run by complete madmen...

C'mon....we aint winning Sh*t. We fans don't want it. We NEED this pick for our sanity...Don't make it harder on either of us...just win one and let us go first. We promise you can have Boyd! Big Grin

You make a very clear and logical argument that Tampa Bay is in fact deserving of the number 1 overall pick.

However, the Jaguars have no alternative but to act in the best interest of the league as it would nothing short of a travesty for Bridgewater to have a career derailed by MRSA.

The Bucs can have the first pick on the condition they take Manziel so the virus can hopefully clear out whatever seems to be affecting his head.  Schiano will be gone by then so Johnny will be free to run the show as he feels like until he has his welcome to the NFL moment.

I wouldn't be surprised if the Jaguars missed out on the first pick of the draft. I have a feeling they'll win a meaningless game or two.

The Jaguars had one of the toughest first half schedules of the year. Playing premier teams, such as: Colts, 49ers, Seahawks, Chiefs, Broncos, Chargers. Even the Rams and Raiders aren't that terrible.

The Jags play the Titans and Texans twice in the second half. Usually division matchups are more competitive. They also have the Browns, Cards, and Bills. None of those teams are stellar.

So as putrid as the Jags have played, they have a much more realistic shot at winning games in the second half. You may just get your wish, Beatles123

Beatles, we (Jaguars) have very little talent because of our last GM. Gene Smith picked a lot of guys from small schools - Derek Cox went to William & Mary, Rashad Jennings went to Liberty, and Will Rackley went to Lehigh. He also made a quarterback (Zach Miller) a tight end. David Caldwell knew what to do and decided to clean house, so we have to get worse before we can get better. I think it is obvious that we are living with Blaine Gabbert and Chad Henne this season because we were waiting for an elite quarterback and all the talk about having faith in Gabbert was smokescreen.

Obviously, the Buccaneers will need to collect a lot of extra picks in May to improve very much, so they could hurt themselves by picking first overall. If I was Tampa Bay's GM, I would trade down.

While I see both of your points, gentlemen, I must remind you that though we are both equally of shared amounts of suck, our team plays in a division with the saints, falcons and panthers.

These are all evil men. Very evil.

We and we alone must be burdened with the task of containing that evil, lest it seep out into the rest of the NFL as it has this year and contaminate our sport! Ask yourselves, HOW LONG are we going to let our children, the children of the greatest state on earth, FLORIDA, be subjected to "CAAAAAAAAM......WOA-OAH, CAM!!!" or "WHO DAT?" To the DISGUSTING dirty bird dance, or the horrors of Mike Smith's Eyebrows??

Don't you fools see?! WE ARE THE ONLY HOPE FLORIDA HAS! Give us the pick, so that we may defend her from within the belly of the south...

Why, you jags wouldn't even know how to deal with them..........We still don't..............BUT WE WILL,

We ask you to win...win, so that we can lose, which means we win....which means you lose, but win!...by losing Smile

Think it over, will you..?

We were screwed out of the 1st pick last year.. we don't deserve to have it happen again this year.

You are a funny man. Are you guys even considering taking Clowney, or is this basically a suck-race for Teddy at this point?
A glimmer of hope for Jaguars fans?

That's right, Schiano!!!

You DO realize you are talking to a fan base whose team actually chose a punter in the 3rd round over some guy named Russell Wilson, right?

You DO realize you are posting on a message board for a team that chose Tyson Alualu 10th overall, right?

You DO realize you are talking about a team with exactly ZERO players left from the 2009 draft, and one player left from 2010-the AWFUL, aforementioned Tyson Alualu whose next game changing play will be his first?

Anyone left from 2008?  Bueller...?  Bueller...?  Bueller...?

2007?  One guy-Uche Nwaneri-a 5th round G now playing on one of the worst OLs in recent NFL history.

You DO realize the sole bright spot of this team, WR Justin Blackmon, is one lapse away from being suspended for the year, right?

You are conversing with a group whose team-even though it ranked 20th in attendance last year-outdrawing Chicago, Tampa, Miami, Detroit, and others, is by far the most persistent subject of relocation rumors.  On top of that, we are inundated by those who want to impose Tim Freaking Tebow on us!

In closing...

Probably the funniest thing I've read all day...  Remind me to make this my signature...
I will say the Bucs are a stark contrast to the Jaguars in the way their fans view their team from what I can tell.  It looks to me that all of the Buc fan's angst is targeted at their coach.  Jaguar fans are commiserating draft classes gone wrong for over a decade now.  They have a lot of good players.  Jaguars have like 2 good players.

To say nothing about that big shiny trophy they can look at when things go bad.

I keep hearing about this trophy, the Glazers won't let me get anywhere near where said 'trophy' is supposed to be located. I doubt it even exists.

Sincerely,

Greg Schiano

Look pal, there is an abundance of evidence.  There are videotapes/DVDs available.  There's the whole internet thing.

You can't escape the truth here, just like we can't escape the suck here unless we get the #1 overall pick in 2014.

Look, I'm not hip with your techno-nerd language. Why don't you take your fancy thin picture boxes with color pictures with all of your little giblets and go elsewhere. I could never figure out how to turn the damn things on, and to think, someone accused me of taping their practices. Perhaps some day I'll be a good NFL head coach, I'm still trying to figure out why all the other coaches wear* ear muffs during the games. It hasn't helped me much, I can't hear anything.

Sincerely,

Greg Schiano

Well, according to PFT, you have decided to put Revis in more man coverage.  That's a step in the right direction.

I hope, someday you become that good head coach.  Someday very very very soon.  Like immediately.

At least 2/3of the football fans in this state are rooting for it.
