We have the worst possible luck. We'll get the 2nd pick and draft Mariota and he turns out to be a complete bust, while the Bucs get Teddy and he becomes the next Peyton Manning .

I seriously doubt Caldwell drafts Mariota.
There's also a part of me that thinks, if Tampa Bay gets the top pick, they pass on Bridgewater for Clowney. Imagine their defense with a guy like Clowney on the edge.
We have to hope for one of two things...
1. Tampa wins more games than us
or
2. Glennon does well enough to cause Dominik to foolishly pass on Teddy for another position

Exactly, This will be a deep QB draft and I am starting to hear things about a few guys I didn't even know about. I heard on 1010xl that Caldwell is high on some kid from San Jose State. Don't know if there is any truth to it, but I would be happy with Clowney and a QB in the 2nd.

The way the Falcons are playing, the Bucs might even escape the cellar in the NFC South if they build on the positives in the OT loss to Seattle. If there was ever a must ' loss' game based on what you are hoping for, the Bucs game against the Falcons tops the list!
