Ding, ding, ding.
Dang, which loss was worse, Texans or Bucks?

Obviously the Bucs. The Texans were missing their head coach in the second half.

I disagree.

If the Texans would have won against the Colts,   they would have only been 2 games out of 1st place.   With a win against the team that's in first place.

If the Bucs would have won,    they would still have been totally out of the playoff race.

So actually you do agree Tampa Bay is much worse than Houston.

Now look at what really happened. The Texans are three and a half games out of first place, right? I don't see them going to the playoffs at that rate. But I don't see them playing for draft picks either.
Get used to us losing.

We are.

As for Dom, he  has drafted badly nearly every year other than 2012 for the most of the draft. Mccoy is the bright spot. No one is left from 2009.
Must you be informed of about our 2011 draft class or perhaps the 2008 draft class?

As a team,    I agree that Tampa Bay is much worse than Houston at present.      However,   I believe the loss by the Texans yesterday has a much greater negative impact on them than the Bucs loss has for the Bucs.     If the Texans would have beaten the Colts,   they would have been back in the AFC South race and the AFC Wildcard race.     As a result of the Texans inability to hold an 18 point lead against the Colts,    they basically have to win at least 7 out of their remaining 8 games to have a chance at reaching the playoffs.    That's a very tall order.

With Case Keenum as the Texans starting QB,      they probably will win a number of games in the 2nd half of the season to keep them clearly out of the top 5 of the draft.    In the first half of the game vs.  the Colts last night,    the Texans played like a playoff caliber team.       It reminded me of the Texans team from the first half of the 2012 season.     While Gary Kubiak's health is far more important than the outcome of any game,     last night's loss for the Texans had to be devastating for them in a football context.
Even after TB found a way to lose to Seattle yesterday... The Jaguars are still worse....

How does it make sense that a team with a harder SOS gets the higher draft pick? I would think the team with the lower SOS would get the higher draft pick considering they are losing against worst teams and therefor are the worse of the two teams.

This ^^^ Even at 21-0, I knew Seattle was going to "find a way" to win that game.....and they did.

Quote:They showed they are way more talented than us. They can beat ATL and STL easy.

They already got spanked by Atlanta a few weeks back and that was without Julio & Roddy White.

You must not be paying attention. We have been saying the opposite since this thread was created. A team with a harder SOS can only pick ahead of us by losing more games.

I haven't been. Is that the actual rule?

The actual rule is if two teams finish with the same record, the first tiebreaker is weaker SOS.
Here is my question...Is Mike Glennon the answer? I can assure you I for one am praying he not only continues to play well but he does so to make TB feel he can be that guy which hopefully stops term from drafting a QB.
He's obviously not the answer if they are drafting 1st and 2nd overall.
