Quote:Nightmare scenario is the Titans or Texans getting him, and it could happen - especially the Texans whose record is only one game better than us right now.

Thats because the Lousiville coaches run the ball as if its a badge of honor, and seemingly often forget they have the best QB in the country on their team. Even Simple Jack is smart enough to allow Peyton to do his thing, and not mess it up....

I don't see us beating the Texans are Titans in our remaining games, it took a plethora of turnovers to barely beat the Titans, and Texans are a much better team than us, we have nothing to worry about.

Not to mention we were torched by Fitzpatrick. I don't think it is a stretch to say we lose that game if Fitzpatrick starts.
I have the same concern as some scouts do about TB, and it may affect his draft status; he has narrow shoulders and that prevents him from gaining much more muscle mass for his slight frame. We'll see come combine time.
Quote:I don't think that hurts him at all, maybe in some of the fans eyes, I think Bridgewater can do whatever an offensive coordinator wants him to do. He has the arm strength and accuracy to be a productive player in any scheme, what's most impressive is his poise, eye level, pocket presences, and toughness, and those are things you simply can't teach.

Sorry that's what I meant, hurts him in the fans eye not scouts.  Fans like the goddy numbers and flashy offenses

I agree, I think the Titans are a better team with RF, he's not great but at least he's somewhat conistent, you know what you're going to get. Jake Locker is erractic, the Titans will be looking to draft a QB next year.

I agree.

Link???

He is 6'3 200lbs, all he needs is 15 lbs to be sturdy enough, he is a pocket passer, not Mr.scrambler

It's not like Bridgewater is ever going to be as big as Cam Newton.  That shouldn't be a knock on him.

But it would be foolish to think TB could not put on 15 healthy pounds by the time the combine comes around.  He's probably around 210 right now, so 225 is not out of the equation.

I would not be surprised if a guy like Phillip Rivers hits the open market, that the titans are one of his serious suitors. Especially if Munchak (hopefully) is retained.

If the Jags screw up the Bridgewater thing by winning a few meaningless games down the stretch, I'd rather the Jags get Rivers.....a;though I have no idea why you think San Diego would let him walk...

Question. When the Jags get smoked by the Tinhorns this week, what will be the next thing that keeps you up at night?

No on Rivers... I mean he has been good for a while but if we are going to rebuild, why throw in a 30+ yr old QB when we can try to rebuild with a young QB?

I obviously want Teddy but if we miss out on him, I don't think Rivers should be the option.

Rivers is a FA after the 2015 season, San Diego would be wise to start thinking about a younger/cheaper replacement. There's no way they'll pay Rivers what franchise QB are being paid these days, I wouldn't be surprised if they parted ways sooner than later, just my opinion however.

I gotta tell ya. This is the most rediculous thing I have ever heard.

How's that working out for that bodybuilder Drew Brees?

Because any young QB outside of Bridgewater isn't a sure thing.

If they can't get Bridgewater then getting a proven good QB and then developing one in addition to Rivers would be the way to go. That way, you have an established QB in the meantime until the other QB develops/ if at all.

Second Tinhorns game

Second Tacks Game

Second Dolts game.

As much as you hate to hear this. Bridgewater isn't a sure thing either.

If they had a PPV event that showed TMD's living room during the draft, I would probably pay to see it.

i'd use that ppv money to convince him to pick another team.
