Quote:Call me Mr. Negative, but I do indeed hope that Bridgewater doesn't turn out to be the best QB from this draft through his rookie year and even first few years. And that in addition, we happen to "lose out" on the very first pick and drafting Bridgewater, or even simply choose another QB over him, be it Mariota or another, who turns out to be just as good or better. Just so that somewhere down the road I can sit back and point out how some people here are overly obsessed with the guy and missing the fact that this is expected to be a very strong draft for quarterbacks. Not every good (or even great) quarterback has to be the first pick of the draft...
I bet you cut off your nose to spite your face.

Quote:Justin Blackmon will not fix his problem. Poz like Daryl will not be a piece to build around for the future. Sorry for forgetting about Scobee. It's easy to forget about him when we can never cross midfield
Bro, you make me wonder if you even pay attention to Jags football. You obviously weren't kidding when you said to extend Monroe, then you said Blackmon will be out of the league... dude did you see Jared Allen out of the league when he had his meltdown? No, and not only was he not out of the league, he flourished. Blackmon has 10x more potential than Jared Allen. He's not going anywhere. That kid could commit Ray Lewis murder and still have a chance in the league to become an all-time great.
Btw.. tell me where Daryl Smith is in the league as far as tackles go with a new team. I'll give you a hint, he's top 10.
This regime is as bad as any, letting Greg Jones and Daryl Smith walk. You normally let the trash players walk, not the good ones.

How did everyone miss the memo on Greg Jones taking slightly less money to go to a "winner?" The Jags didn't let him walk.

Lolwut? Jags could have kept him from keeping him from going to the 2nd worst team in the NFL.
Well even if.. it wouldn't make us a top tier team right now I'm just saying, it's hard to look at the Jags without #33 in the backfield ready to plow someones head off every play whether he made $500 per game or $5 million.

I noticed you called Daryl Smith a tackle instead of a linebacker. He was injured near the end of regulation yesterday and did not return in overtime, BTW.
David Caldwell did let trash players walk. The four Lions who are former Jaguars were not as good last year as they used to be. Rashad Jennings and Derek Cox are not Jaguars anymore either. Other players like Terrance Knighton and George Selvie benefited from moving to better teams.
