I don't think you understand how much it means to me for you to say that. I don't have any friends really, and all of my assistant coaches are from college or peewee previously. You sound like you are a professional coach currently, I'm going to hire you as one of my offensive coordinators. I currently have 6, I'm not quite sure how many I'm supposed to have, there's no instruction guide to this coaching thing. Hey, here's a play I came up with, let me know what you think. I think we could run this at least 20 times.

It would not surprise me if the game in Seattle this weekend is a lot closer than what most people are expecting. The Seahawks offensive line is arguably the worst in all of football; they've been decimated by injuries and can't block anyone. Their offense wasn't explosive prior to the Sidney Rice injury, his absence will certainly hurt, especially if Revis is allowed play man and take out Golden Tate. The Rams obviously rush the passer much better than the Bucs, but their formula for defending the Seahawks offense on Monday night was smart, stack the box with 8 defenders taking away Marshawn Lynch and force Russell Wilson to beat you with his arm, the Seahawks don't have the weapons to make you pay for such a strategy, I'm not expecting an upset, but I am expecting a close grind it out kind of game.

What do you think I'm doing? This IS my gameplan, I'm proactively meeting with one of my six offensive coordinators on these forums. Did you not see that play I just designed. I'm telling you, this play is pure gold. The ladies are going to be crawling all over us after we start running this.

I have the utmost respect for your coaching style.  Some coaches are players' coaches.  Some are media darlings.  Some are fan favorites.

 

You, on the other hand, refuse to be pigeonholed by such accolades.

 

Since you've been kind enough to grace our forum, I must ask:  what is the one thing the Jags should do to win our next game against our hated rival, the Tennessee Titans?  I don't think that playing through on victory formation will quite do it for us, but if it is your suggestion, we shall go for it.

The fact that they have NOT been using Revis in man coverage to this point just shows you either how BAD Schiano is as a coach, or how blatantly the Bucs are tanking.

No chance of that happening. Everyone except me is acting like only one team can steal the #1 pick away from us and it is guaranteed we are not battling for the #2 pick. Am I the only poster who ever thought about the possiblity Minnesota can get the top pick instead of a Florida team?

Some people thinks he has been good but overall he hasn't.  He is not good in coverage and misses tackles.  I think he will get better though.

Chad Henne is obviously better than Blaine Gabbert, which is not saying much. On the current quarterback rankings list, Henne is 31 and Gabbert is 34.
