Welp, we just placed Martin on I.R.

You'll need to hope Mike James wasn't a fluke last week.

Unfortunately CBS had the doubleheader last week, so I missed your game and don't know what Mike James did against the Seahawks.

Better than we expected, that's for darn sure!!!

He was great, he actually ran for 158 yards at 5.6 ypc IN Seattle. Heck, he even THREW for a TD. That's right, he had a passing TD in the game too.
As soon as they realized Mike James could handle being a starting qb, Martin went straight to IR.

Bucs just might beat the Dolphins with all the distractions going on in Miami.

That and the two missing starting OL for the fish.

Come on, Bucs!!!
It is setting up well for Tampa to get a win. But we've seen them blow it a few times this year.

Mike James played like Rick James against Seattle.  Pick him up on your fantasy team, that's how good he did.  If the bucs play like they did on sunday, they could go 8-0 and make the play-offs.

Yeah, that's what I said, playoffs.

Stop callilng them fish. Real dolphins have all the same things only mammals have and do the same things mammals do when they are young. They don't even swim the same way fish do or have any of the things that make a fish a fish.

An opponent missing two offensive linemen has nothing to do with putting a player on injured reserve.

Need the pirates to eat some sushi on Monday night.
Sorry guys, you underestimate that Joe Philbin keeps them foccused.

Not sushi. Dolphin tail.

I think a lot of people are quick to criticize Joe Philbin because they never heard about the Dolphins having harrassment problems before he left Green Bay.

One thing to keep in mind is that most Dolphins fans hate when their team is called the '  Fish' .   That's why countless Jets, Patriots,  Bills,  and other fans call them the ' Fish'.  It's part of having rivalries.     The end result is the NFL thrives on this.

I'm not sure George Halas,  Vince Lombardi,   Paul Brown,  and Bill Walsh in their primes could keep the Dolphins focused with the chaos that's currently going on with that team.

As much as you want the Bucs to get the # 1 pick,   the Dolphins internal implosion couldn't have happened at a worse time for the Bucs to remain winless.    If the Bucs end up losing this game,   you have plenty of reasons for ' optimism'  that the Bucs are heading towards 0-16 or 1-15.

When fans of teams like the Buccaneers that do not hate Miami call them Fish, they seem to just doing it because they don't know whales and dolphins are mammals. No way is that a rivalry word when fans of Florida's NFC team say it. Mom told me they say it to be funny. Of course, I will never believe that because I see no humor in it.

All coaches who have connections to Bill Walsh said they will not tolerate the kind of behavior being reported from Miami's locker room. They would kick everyone off that team after figuring out which teammates Jonathan Martin was complaining about.

The Bucs and Dolphins play in the same state.   Both share some of the same markets.    There are many people in Florida that have family members,  friends,  and others they know that root for the other team.   The Jaguars are also included in this.   These teams play each other in the pre-season each year.     Orlando is probably the city in Florida that defines the rivalries between the Jaguars and Bucs,  Jaguars and Dolphins,  and Bucs and Dolphins,  as well as any place in the Sunshine State.

Regardless of how the Head Coach reacts in the long run,  it's difficult ( close to impossible ) to remove all of the players involved in the middle of the season when your team is still in the playoff race.

Jeff Ireland does not even know all of the names to cut anyway. However, there is no reason he can't cut Richie Incognito and Jonathan Martin to make sure there will not be any speculation about either player coming back to Miami. This would help Joe Philbin keep everyone focused on Tampa Bay Monday night.

Despite Jeff Ireland's contract extension back in September,  his job appears in serious jeopardy if the Dolphins miss the playoffs once again.   Stephen Ross'  patience,  especially with the turmoil that continues to come out of Miami,  is only going to last so long.    If Ireland goes, a new Head Coach in Miami likely will follow as well.

One can also make the case that it would be even more of a distraction if Richie Incognito and/ or Jonathan Martin are cut before Monday Night's game.

Thank you for explaining that.
