I've been on hold for over an hour trying to speak to someone at the Railroad Retirement Board.

Edit: I should have complained sooner.  Five minutes after I posted, someone picked up.

Me: we need “x”? Walks into store, grabs “x” checks date if need be, then headed to checkout.

Wife: we need “x” but let me see if I can find all the other consonants and vowels while in in here. Maybe a few punctuations and an emoji while I’m in here.

I’ve got a head cold.. after 19 or so years together, you’d think she knows me by now. We go to Home Depot for a smash and grab Christmas decoration thing. Once we were finding new colors for the kitchen is about when I said “here’s my card. Give me the keys, I’ll wait in the car. The store is too stuffy”. She gets pissed off and says “let’s go (insert child’s name). Seriously? Im sick, offer to pay for it all in exchange for sitting in the car with open windows so I can be more comfortable while having this cold and you want to get upset with me??? I even asked before we left if the Christmas stuff was all we’re getting. Same woman that was sick the week before and I pampered.

I got off early today. I was thinking I’ll pick up my daughter and play ball in the backyard with her. Something she’s grown an interest in here lately. I’ve got a work truck and I’m trying to find the booster seat so I can go pick her up from after school care. Turns out my seat is in the [BLEEP] that’s in the shop and ready for pickup whenever my wife is off work enough for me to go get it.

So no playing ball today.

So mcdonalds is promoting its 50 yr anniversary of the egg mcmuffin tomorrow for 63 cents at breakfast times.

Guess what tho u have to order it on the app. If thats not a kick in the cajones to the crowd that made the sammy famous i dont know what is.

doesn't ordering ahead defeat the purpose of fast food?

I ain't ate mcD's in I don't know how long, they could be giving away free food and I'm still heading anywhere else. That, and any time some deal like this happens, there's gonna be a line for days for sub-par food. The extra cost for a brefficks sammy anywhere else will be extremely worth the time saved.

Regardless of what people think about their other food, egg McMuffins are great, as is all of their breakfast sandwiches. The one redeeming quality of McD’s.

Was about to say the same.  I love me a good eggamuffin on occasion.

If you're going to advertise for South of the Border for 125 miles out on the interstate, at least have some decent crap for sale besides crappy fireworks..

I guess you’re at that point in life where you can’t just squeeze to turn the nozzle off at will? That’s what I do if a rogue sneeze confronts itself mid pee. That or even a cough or fart. Idk why I shut down business for the fart. But I do.
