Everything is "amazing".

"Do you read the Jags Message Board?"
Yes, it's amazing."

For some reason, probably buried in my childhood, the term "Folks" also bugs me. Amazing.

"Have a good one" rankles me.

And I hate being rankled.

Well, you’d probably have a good one if you weren’t so against it.

I hope your good one goes bad.

I find that if you're not up against it then it really can't be that good.

I understand what you're saying but it would help your point if you didn't use an example that is so completely unrealistic.

"The Rankler" would have been a good Batman villain. Outstanding.

Sorry.. I've just seen this..

How and why would you play golf sober is what I was getting at.. Rolleyes
It annoys the crap out of me when someone says "I could care less" when they are trying to describe how little they care when they should be saying "I couldn't care less".

This one has ALWAYS annoyed me.. it totally goes against the point they're trying to make!

Why anyone would want to play golf at all is what I'm wondering.

When the wheels fall off my game, I wonder the very same thing.

I'm going to hit the driving range again soon.. I haven't played for a long time. No one will be safe with me hitting balls.. not even myself.

If you're halfway serious about taking the game up again, I would recommend not picking up a club until you're with a teaching professional. You've largely 'forgotten' your bad habits. Now is a good opportunity to correctly learn swing basics.
It appears that several of us are going through life pretty much annoyed at everything. I get, ah, rankled at the misuse of the word compliment/complement as in "...Jack will compliment Fowler in certain 3rd down situations."

"You look nice today, Dante."
"Your hair looks great, Dante."

"Shut up Myles, it's only 2nd down."

I would do that.. but it's a cost thing.. my wife is going on to maternity pay soon and we will be largely down to 1 wage.. I just intend on finding my feet up the range again, then seeing where I go from there..
When will people learn that Walmart garden center checkouts are for large items and quick convenience, not for heaping carts.

I'm taking my 210 items there whether you like it or not.

Is there a sign that says that or is that just a rule you made up?

It's common sense, plus it serves my sense of entitlement. You will obey. Deal with it.
