Figure it out.

So they’re saying it like piranha? Haven’t heard that one yet.

Yeah, pretty much.  I’ve heard it a few times only on tv.  Thank goodness I haven’t heard it in person.

I've heard it pronounced "corronahvirish *hic*", but it was probably a different kind of corona.

You must live near my in-laws.  They don’t pronounce anything right and are always drunk on cheap beer.  Wait a sec...what part of Hilliard are you from? Maybe you’re my daddy in law!!!! Hi dad!

I’ll even accept St George Georgia, holy cow that place...   if you ever have the chance to stop or visit, I suggest you don’t.

Doesn’t quite roll off the tongue as well, but effective nonetheless.
Publix is becoming quite a trickster. Since people stopped picking things up and replacing them for a different one, I noticed the ground beef was all 1.5lbs and larger. Before it was pretty much a pound. I wanted to get steaks. I like ribeyes. Not on sale and holy cow, 2+ lbs (pack of two) only to be found on top of everything else. We can’t eat one pound steaks anymore. But, I touched it! Pretty clever on their part. And are people stocking up on ketchup? Where’s the ketchup?

I have some beautiful 6 oz squeeze bottles of Heinz that I could part with. I am getting $14.99 a bottle plus $12.50 flat rate shipping. Let me know if you are interested.

Ahhh.... I’ll have to pass. Guess it’s time to start adapting and I’ll have to see how dipping french  fries in yogurt tastes.
Nextdoor.com

Does anybody use that? What started out as a theoretically decent tool has gone the way of most 'social media'. There's just so much crap and flat-out stupid questions that I rarely even read the notifications anymore.
For the first time in 6 weeks I had a dinner other than something we cooked at home. Doordashed hurricanes. Food was cold, fries were soggy. Not a problem. I fully expected that. Not a big deal whatsoever. It’s how it goes. for 3 meals and an app, plus tip was 80 bucks. Ok, not ideal, but I’m hiring a third person to pick it up and deliver. I can understand that. The issue, Hurricanes meals have somehow gotten ridiculously small. I’ll give you 80 for what we had before, but for this... only thing I can think is they’re pinching to save/make up money lost. Not quite sure how I feel about that. Live and learn I suppose.

Saturday we’ll try our favorite sushi place for the ole anniversary. It’s pick up so I’m sure that’ll go better. Hopefully we get the normal order/quantity we usually get.

I use it but most folks in my neighborhood don't ask stupid stuff. It has been helpful during power outages, snow storms and hurricanes. Everyone was checking in and sharing what was going on around town. Outside of that and the occasional missing pet it's quiet.

I used it for about a week, but that's about it.

There's a lot of collusion.  Person 1 asks, "Does anyone have a good plumber?" and person 2 responds, "Hey, my plumber [name of plumber] is great."  I'm sure they arranged that little advertisement between them.

And then there's the complaining.  "People use too many chemicals on their lawns."  And then the back and forth about chemicals on lawns.

And people chime in who don't even live in the neighborhood.

Nextdoor.com has all the value of a piece of junk mail.
I figure since I was being tracked everywhere, and I was being shown ads for everything I looked at, what would I like to see in those ads?  So I went to the Victoria's Secret website, hoping the trackers would pick that up and I would now be shown ads with lots of hot supermodels in scanty clothing.  So what am I getting now?  Ads for bras and panties for plus size women.  Something went wrong with this scheme somewhere.

Probably cross referenced Victoria's Secret and your BBW porn searches and voila!
When you're wiping your [BLEEP] and your finger tears through the toilet paper.
