I don't get this. I've heard other people express annoyance with him too. What's so annoying about him?

Other than him being a horrible color-man...nothing.

A simple example was when the Bills had the ball at the end of the game and it's 3rd and 10 and Booger is saying they should run the ball and get in better position for the field goal and then spike the ball.

Ummmm...spiking the ball probably wouldn't be too smart on 4th down.

Which reminds me of another annoyance....

Trying to explain some of the intricacies of football, such as spiking the ball, to my wife.    Cry

He also points out the blatantly obvious. He's not adding any extra inside information as to why they are running certain plays but instead just saying what happened.

"You see the running back ran hard here and got 4 yards"

Thanks Booger!

Half the time it seems like he's just talking to fill air space.

I'm not sure who the play-by-play guy was for the Texans/Bills on Saturday, but I was ready to mute the TV by the end of the game.  I don't know if Booger just runs his mouth incessantly, or it just seems like it since he annoys me so much.
The Charmin commercial with the bear parents not wanting to pick up their kids skeevy drawers from the bathroom floor because they’re dirty.

Why are there underwear laying around anyway?? NONE OF THEM ARE WEARING ANY CLOTHES!!

He talks a lot without saying much of anything interesting.

....so Tony Romo?

that man HATES dead air.

Thanks Booger!

He, like Freddie Kitchens, did well at his prior post and ended up over-promoted.

However, he replaced Witten, who was capital-T Terrible, who replaced Gruden. MNF was so much more palatable when the Deuce used to broadcast the Deportes telecast.

Booger was just fine on the sidelines, when he had one or two bits per quarter, and who knows if those were his original ideas or just commentary fed to him from the production room.

His sideline bit is really more of what I was referring to. I thought he did he pretty good with it.

I also think Tony Romo does a real good job in the booth. (shrug) Maybe I’m just not critical enough.

Tony Romo is a great analyst.

I love Romo.  Even if he rambles a bit at times, the guy is extremely knowledgeable.  Booger McFarland just rambles aimlessly.
I love when Tony Romo calls the games. He’s by far my favorite commentator and it’s not even close!

Let's start with football in general before you introduce her to Jaguars football.

Doesn't matter.

A simple example:  She can't understand why a team 'doesn't try to go for it' on 4th down from their own 20 yard line rather than punt.  (This one gets asked at least a couple of times a year)

or

What position does Leonard Fournette play?

I will say that she does get enthusiastic when we have an exciting play.  She usually scares the living [BLEEP] out of the dogs.

On the rare occasions my mom is over during a game, that’s exactly what I deal with.

Too funny. I'm the opposite. My husband grabs the cat and retreats to another room. Especially when we play the tittians. I get a bit excitable during the games. Lol

I'm just shocked that she doesn't have a better grasp on football.  She grew up in Stillers country with three brothers and a father that were die hard fans.
I’m surprised by the level of knowledge my Filipino wife exhibits about the game. She’ll ask a question on occasion, but overall she has a pretty good understanding of the game and the tactics involved.

Willful Ignorance!

For some reason that commercial gets me too.  Maybe it’s run it’s course.  Idk.  But it irks me.  Not to mention, what parent is afraid to pick up some undies, soiled or not???  Not buying it.  I mean, we do buy it (charmin) but not this particular scenario.
