That is when you inform the manager of the failure to do his/her job and of your intent to never return to the place.
You expect the manager to care about you not returning?

Why cant newer tvs record shows. It would be supercool if they had a built in recorder. There iis space for that now it would seem. I would glady pay 1 to 2 hundred more for that feature. This would mainly be to record sports for me. We should ge there gy now technology wise. I mean for cripes sake we could record games in the 80s on a vcr. Even if you could put a memory stick in a port. It seemed easier back then than it is now. Unless you want to pay exorbitant fees for youtube tv or a service with dvrs.
How does everyone record sports now if you dont pay for a tv service?

Seems like you would be in the minority. Given that so many people either already have DVR service through their cable/satellite/streaming service, seems frivolous to add the fuctionality to a TV and add a few hundo to the price.
I would certainly say that if I were TV shopping and TV 1 is $500 and TV 2 is $650 and the only difference is on-board DVR, I am buying the $500 model.
Even in the 80s we were using an external device to handle channel tuning and recording the signal.

Streaming services have DVR? The only live television I watch is football. It's the only sport that I can't watch after the fact if I can't watch live. I didn't watch any of the Olympics live. Peacock had them available for replay later. I hate being interrupted by commercials every five minutes. Same with the Tour de France. Replay means no commercials if you have Peacock's premium plus.

YTTV sure does. Not sure about Rokutv.
It's not really trivial to me, but I have never seen such big mosquitos in my life as the ones in the woods around our home. Those things are the size of flies or even bigger. I hate spraying on bug spray, but there is no choice when they swarm like they did today. I would have thought that the last few days of dry weather would have driven them off, but no. I really need to trade my tractor off for one with a cab... and A/C.
They're real nasty around here after we got all the rain after months of dry and excessive heat. The county is giving away mosquito 'donks' to try to bring it down to a dull roar. They're some sort of insecticide blocks you put in sources that collect water that attract mosquitoes and it kills them and their larvae.
We ended up having to buy a few of those Zevo lights with the sticky traps to corral the gnats that have also gone nuts. One in each bathroom and one in the kitchen and those things catch all kinds of flying critters. Gnats can live in your plumbing pipes! That's just nasty.

Yttv also cost at last check 65 bucks a month. Roku is free but no dvr cloud for free of course. I had yttv at 35 bucks when first came out cancelled once they went to 50.
Iust saying it should ge easier than it is.
Does anyone use tablo? Seems a viable option.

We've been harassed by mosquitoes in the house, so we bought some of those bug traps that have an ultraviolet light, which attracts them, and then kills them with an electric shock. They seem to work. You need to use them in the dark, so we have them on at night. Every now and then we hear a loud pop. It's quite startling. But then, you realize, that pesky mosquito has met his end.
When I work in the yard I spray myself down with insect repellent, and in the house I wear long pants.

How do you get so many mosquitoes in your house?

Every so often I'll hear a different sound and it's a fly that has been trapped by the Zevo and it's trying to unstick itself. I say good riddance! Somehow we've had a couple of ladybugs get trapped but it's mostly gnats.

I think they get in when we go in and out of the door to the outside. It's not so many, but it's enough to be really irritating when I'm trying to take a nap while watching golf on TV or something, and I hear that high pitched "wheeeeeee" next to my ear, and I'm itching on my arm or leg. I can never catch the bastards. They're too quick. And they seem to know we're after them, so they go hide somewhere.
It’s not trivial, but it’s become so common these days that it has taken on an air of triviality. Notifications of data breaches is almost a monthly occurrence now. The service I use sent me an email with notification of 14 breaches. Most were general in nature saying that my SSN, email address and other sundry information was exposed. No particular company or organization involved, just a notification that it’s dark outside and my window shades are open.
I’ve pretty much resolved myself to the fact that all on my personal info is out there and there’s nothing I can do about it except to monitor my credit report and hope for the best. It seems like another step towards requiring biometrics for everything in the future.
Bike lanes are dumpsters full of glass, nails, sheet metal and staples. I have to replace a tube at least once a month.
Complained to the city to see if they would run a sweeper periodically, and got punted to FDOT because although it's city limits, it's still a state highway.
On the plus side, I'm getting pretty. dang. good. at replacing tubes on the go.

That's a good skill to have. Sucks that you
have to be so good at it though.
Just looked up a flight out of JAX for next Wednesday, returning one week later. $388 roundtrip on United. Checked the one-way rate because I might stay a little longer. Same flight on United WITHOUT the return is $524. In what world does this pricing structure make any sense?
Here's an oldie but a goodie. I've said it before.
Today's trivial annoyance: people who use an apostrophe to make a noun plural. Here's three in one sentence! You know who you are.
"However, again, the fact that he went onto win two Superbowl's, against, let's face it, two of the more impressive Patriot's teams and better Brady individual season's?"

Totally agree and it is like it is made to be no big deal now when in the past they made it more of a situation. Now it is even the social security administration. I basically have resolved now to keep my credit locked. It is ridiculous.
