So do the natives, but it takes years to truly master. Especially when shortening a three syllable word to one and a half-ish.
British video golf instructors. They're so verbose. They have a tendency to stretch a 5-minute lesson into 20 by just yacking away and not getting directly to the point.

How's that for trivial?

My attention span has shrunk a lot, probably because of years of watching Youtube.  But I agree with you. They need to get to the point.  I suppose they have to fill a certain amount of time, so they spend 20 minutes telling us about something that should take 30 seconds.

The other thing I don't like about them is when they use props.  Martin Hall on The Golf Channel is the worst.  He's always building some contraption out of coat hangers and pvc pipes and stuff like that.  I'm not going to go to the driving range and do that.

By the way, speaking of Martin Hall, do you remember Holly Sonders?  She's had a very "interesting" career since leaving The Golf Channel.

I remember her, but didn’t keep up after she left. I did a quick internet search and it looks like Dupont has been very good to her.

Years ago, when I was working in Kansas, I went to a local golf range and there was a nerdy guy out there with pool noodles, gadgets and a broom working on his swing. I asked him if he was a fan of Michael Breed, who always used those props on the Golf Channel, but he cited some guy on YouTube I’ve never heard of. He’s the only person I’ve ever seen who was shameless enough to actually utilize props at a golf range.
