Here's a classic.
Lost car keys.

Almost never happens to me for more than a few minutes, but I've turned the house upside down and can't find the only remaining key to my pickup. My GF has my car till 10pm - so I'm somewhat stranded. May have to uber to the grocery store!

After something like this, have you ever found what you were looking for in a place that you had previously looked multiple times?
I have. But it's rare for me. I'm usually quick to find misplaced items.

Turns out that my GF borrowed my keys when she went for a jog this morning so she could lock the front door.
She hid them under a flower pot and left them there since I unlocked the door before she finished her jog and she didn't need them.
TSA agents who cheerfully inform you that "You've been selected for a random secondary screening this morning (At 4:15 am when all you want to do is get through the line and get a coffee!)", making it sound like you've won a prize.
"...and, uh..."

Translation: "I'm just going to keep rattling on and on and on."
While Christmas shopping for the grandkids, discovering the amount of poop themed toys and games. What the hell?
Having the TV back light go out on Christmas Day. The one day a year you can't replace the darn thing.

No TV at all is still better than having to watch a Hallmark movie with your wife.
I spent most of my Christmas with a fever, so that was annoying.

I could have used that advice four days ago. Thankfully the fever is gone now, if only the stuffy nose and sore throat could follow suit, that would be splendid.

You must have been here as those were my options, watch Hallmark with her or read.

I finished another book.
Full page pop up ads that have become the rage the last couple of months. I’m sure many others are like me who make a conscious decision to not look at the ad, but only for the X.

That sounds like AIDS to me ... Have you been checked?

That’s what WebMD says it is too!
I am so sick of this statement:

"The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result." Einstein

First of all, Einstein didn't say that, and secondly that is NOT the definition of insanity. The definition of insanity is "the state of being seriously mentally ill."

The quickest way to drive a person insane is to misquote Einstein ... so I have just learned. Go figure.

When I looked up my symptoms on WebMD, I learned I have been dead for at least 3 years.

Which would explain that smell.

I have been losing weight at least.

Plus, there are plenty of things you can do over and over and absolutely expect a different result. Rolling dice, for example.
