Tell me about it. My wife uses them when we do the big bang.

My wife calls out to a deity when we do the big bang.

Erida?

I never heard the name, just that I was killing her.  Some kind of brain injury I suppose.  She described the event as mind-blowing.
Why are my crunchy tacos always broken???

Same here.

Incidentally, I just got back from a first time in Mexico, and in Mexico, tacos are not crunchy.  Everywhere I went, a taco was a soft corn tortilla with nothing but meat in it.  Nothing like the tacos we eat here.  Here, In Jax, I buy the crunchy tacos from the store, and usually, as you said, there are 3 or more of them that are already broken.  Then I put some refried beans, cooked ground beef, shredded cheese, lettuce, and salsa.  Now, I don't care if it's not "authentic."  That's a much better taco than the genuine Mexican tacos.

I think the Mexican food we are used to here in the states is more of the Tex-mex variety.

protip: double decker. even if the corn tortilla cracks, the flour tortilla keeps everything under wraps (SWIDT?)

that's a portable taco salad, and the same way I make mine, with the addition of olives, hot sauce and sour cream.

Not a fan of #9?
I slather refried beans on a tortilla, break a hard shell in half and lay it on the tortilla, then add all ingredients on top and fold for a hard and soft taco.
A new thing that I'm starting to hear quite often, especially when I'm being waited on in a restaurant, is that I get called 'boss'.  I will hear it in other places but it especially prevalent in dining establishments.

"...and what will you have boss?"

It only seems to be if a male is waiting on us.

I'll also add, I have yet to find a good sausage gravy since I've moved out here.  They've all been so bland.

It’s cuz Texans aren’t really southerners. They just don’t know how to do it. Lol

I'm going to do that.  Thanks.

But do you use a flour tortilla or a corn tortilla?  And where do you get the tortillas?

Flour tortilla. Corn falls apart too easily.

I get them at the store. Is there another place I don’t know about?
Next door neighbor just got a new dog.  Every time she lets it out at night at runs around barking.  Last night/this morning it was at 2:02.  It sucks, because the lady has to let the dog go out to go to the bathroom.  And she only leaves it out for a couple of minutes.  But the damn dog just runs around barking while it's out there.
People who eat with their fork upside down. I watched one guy pile food on his fork with a knife so he could keep it upside down. It really irritates me and I don’t know why. Maybe because it’s so blatantly pretentious.

Ha!  Letting us all know you eat in those fancy places that use cutlery.  Who's calling who pretentious?
