rolls die The capitalist system suppressing the working class! Seize the means of production comrade!

But seriously, the package from Amazon shipped on the 19th and likely won't get here until the 30th, the package from Japan hasn't moved since the 16th, and my package from Singapore shipped on the 6th without tracking and still hasn't shown up.

International orders are always a bit of a mystery. I once ordered a small inexpensive item that shipped directly from China. It took so long to arrive that I had forgotten I had ordered it. It was almost like a surprise gift.

It had to be 20 years ago I received a Xerox desktop printer via UPS.  It was addressed to me.  To this day I have no idea where/who the printer came from.  And I didn't order it and most importantly didn't pay for it.
People comparing The Witcher to GoT. Not even the same show. At all. Sure they're both in the fantasy genre but they are not the same.
Drivers who briefly swing out the opposite direction of their turn. Why do you do this? I almost rubbed fenders with some fool in a left turn lane.

I’m going to say turning radius.  If you’ve got a Jeep or smart car, there shouldn’t be an excuse for that.  I had an 07 Silverado and that thing had terrible turning radius.  I needed a freaking runway to turn around.  Luckily I was able to afFORD a better truck that worked the way it should.

To make a 90 degree turn? I drove a Yukon XL, a tank, for years and was able to make turns without veering in the opposite direction.

For some reason I just had “U” turn in my head.  I’ve turned right a few times to make a “U” turn at a few locations with that Chevy I had.  But if we’re solely talking a 90.  Yeah, that’s just unnecessary.

I miss my tank. It served me well until my son totaled it when he veered into the woods. Trees-1, Tank-0.
When you're setting up the microwave but hit Clear instead of Start.

He meant to turn into the woods on the other side of the road.  Wink

Upon seeing his beloved Yukon buried in the trees, he could only stare in disbelief and mutter "Son of a biscuit!"

I never have gotten a full accounting of exactly how it happened. Some things are better left unsaid.

I don't get this. I've heard other people express annoyance with him too. What's so annoying about him?

He talks a lot without saying much of anything interesting.

My biggest issue, is his name is Booger.  That’s not exactly professional.   His commentating is tolerable.  Not quite collingsworth or romo.  But tolerable.  The ESPN affiliation is the biggest.  Second the other dude refers to him as “Boog” at times.  I’m not soft, but do question how there haven’t been complaints about that.

A similar event was once explained to me as, "The car went off the road."
I politely refrained from asking the driver if he was doing anything with the steering wheel while said roadway departure occurred.
