Depending on how much you plan on drinking, I'd just pay as you go or if they still let you bring multipacks of water bottles on with you (I haven't been on a cruise in the last 10 years), I used to remove the bottles and replace the water in the bottles in the middle of the pack with clear liquor, vodka and/or rum and then pack the bottles back in as if they hadn't been disturbed with legit unopened water bottles all the way around. They're gonna have to tear your water pack open to catch you assuming they still let you bring those packs on with you. I'd still buy drinks at the bar, but I'd supplement by going back to the room occasionally to make my own drink.
Yeah I just plan on having a three drink maximum on the two days we're at sea. We're going to end up bringing a few bottles of wine as permitted and we'll probably look at one drink package where you get a specific bottle of gin, tequila or bourbon and they give you mixers for it.
Just depends on pricing. I don't plan on getting wasted though with a four year old with us. Have to keep an eye out for him. It's his first cruise and it's just my second cruise and it's been twelve years since I went on one when me and my wife were first dating.
They let you bring metal water bottles onboard. I'll just bring my 64 ounce Yeti with us, refill it at that Windbar place for free. If I get any deals it'll be the Refreshment Package. Which isn't too gaudy price wise. That at least ensures sodas, juices and waters unlimited for everybody.
Ha, we're living very similar lives.

I know what you mean. I consume entirely too much YT myself, and not often enough for enlightenment or educational matters. YT is like TV in that it has the potential to be a wonderful learning tool or squandered for mindless entertainment. Too often I choose the latter.
What I can say is YT has helped me tremendously many times with car and motorcycle repair. I spent two sweaty hours yesterday morning replacing the water outlet on my wife's car after first watching the process on YT.

I can't watch shorts for this very reason. I need something more than a scrape over the surface. Dig me in deep.
But what you described above summarizes my reading - I have 5-6 books partly read at any one time, and it's an accomplishment if I ever manage to finish a title.

Here you go, Marty. I know you'll enjoy this. It's a close-in view of Kennedy's last day and assassination as told by a real journalist who was using early 60s technology to deal with one of the biggest American events in a century. It's a fascinating vantage point of that day I've never heard before.

What a story. I remember that weekend after Kennedy was shot. I was in grammar school, JFK was shot on Friday, and I sat with my mother and watched the news all weekend, including seeing Oswald shot live on TV.
But what a story. Passing Oswald as he was fleeing the school book depository and asking him if he knew where there was a phone. That's wild.

Marty, I never realized you’re a boomer.

Surveys. You can’t do anything online…or just in general…without getting a damn survey. I’ve implemented a no survey rule as a result.
Amazon Prime Days. It’s nothing more than a yearly clearance sale to move the junk they can’t get rid of.

Ayuh.
It's also an excuse for eleventy billion emails to get you looking at their clearance sales, which if I just get an email titled "Clearance! Shop now!", it just goes straight to trash.
We’re eating at a restaurant and there’s a couple with a young toddler who is exploring his vocal pitch and volume while slamming objects on the table. Mom and dad don’t seem to care.

At least he’s/she’s at the table. My favorite is when they think it’s fine to let the run rampant in the restaurant.
While we’re at it, when did ‘parenting’ consist of sticking an iPad or iPhone in front of your child?
And stay off my lawn…

My neighbor kids are constantly playing in my yard or riding bikes in my driveway. I would prefer to be that old grumpy guy and yell at them, but honestly it's nice to see kids outside actually playing. As long as they don't damage anything, I'll leave them be.

Man that takes me back. I can remember the old man that lived next door to my friends' house, he had maybe 7 teeth, sat out on the porch all summer long with his fly swatter and cursed us out any time we came within a half foot of his property line. I will never ever forget that ornery coot.

That is when you inform the manager of the failure to do his/her job and of your intent to never return to the place.

Yours might of been a joke, but I was being serious lol

Depends on the venue.
If we're at a Denny's, the expectation drops. If I'm paying $20 a plate, I expect a little less riff-raff.
