Media making scapegoats. He's had plenty of time in the pocket. There have been a couple drops but his throws have mostly been off the mark. That one deep was under thrown and was def a pick. Another pick was dropped.

He gets excuse because of the hype.
Quote:Imagine if Dalton was playing like this. Amazingly the announcer just blamed the oline and receivers...Am I watching the wrong game???

People can say what they want. Dalton is definitely a franchise guy. Right now he's somewhere in the 6-10 range.

But I'd take him over luck.

Kind of reminds me of Favre at the end of his career. But at least he earned his praise earlier in his career

Would anyone trade Bortles for Luck? I certainly wouldn't

I think this is a legit good question.
The Colts are just not a very good football team. Terrible defense, bad offensive line, no running game.

Right now that's a blind trade. No one knows what bortles will be yet.

Based on upside, I wouldn't but that's a really tough and unrealistic scenario haha
I do like that Luck didn't slide on that run.  This isn't baseball.  Sliding is dumb.

I wouldn't either, but thats because Bortles is still an unknown. He could be better than Luck when all is said and done. I just won't say it now 2 seconds into his career.

One thing for sure is nobody would trade the other 52 with Indy.
Keep in mind he couldn't get the score against second stringers now.

Thats true. They do seem to be very unbalanced.

If Luck goes down, They might win 3 games.

You wouldn't trade him for what you think is a surefire top QB? that doesn't make sense.

Or are you seeing him for what he is? The eye test is much like the stat sheet

Grigson is wasting Luck's four years at a discount rate. Mediocre drafting and free agent signings. This team has almost no chance against Denver and NE.

You agree with me that Colts aren't very good and the division is up for grabs?

Because as said, Blake could even be better than Luck. I'll always take a chance on the potentially better player.

What he (Luck) is right now is a top 10 QB in this league (if even at the bottom of that list). A bad game in preseason after he's already proven himself means little.

WIthout Luck they aren't very good.

With Luck they are still winning 10 games minimum.

Meh, Denver aint [BAD WORD REMOVED] either. Mediocre coaching.

New England looks tough though.

He hasn't proven himself though. I've seen this story so many times (i've watched every one of his games). You will then get a write up blaming his teammates and how good Luck is. Despite having multiple poor throws.

No QB is perfect.

Blake has bad throws too, as does Luck, as does Peyton, as did Marino.....and on and on.
