I didn't believe you either. I thought it would be like 3 pages or something.
At any point, in this ridiculously long thread, has a clots fan said WHY Luck is the best QB?

BECAUSE HE IS!!! IDIOT!!! YOU ARE STUPID!!!!
Quote:Is this Colt fan seriously calling Andrew Luck the greatest QB of all time?

Seriously?

lol, it sure looks like he is.

With a statement like that, he has lost some serious credibility.

He is now officially in the clot-colored glasses wearing category.

because some guy said so.

More than some guy. Way more NFL football knowledge than you or I currently have. Let me know when you build a SB champion.

I've never said he was the best.

Go ahead, go back and read all my posts.

So if that one guy says Andrew Luck is the best QB in 40 years, but other guys who have built Super Bowl champions say Peyton Manning is the best QB in the past 40 years, who is right?? They can't both be right.

So answer the question, then. Do you think Andrew Luck is the best QB of the past 40 years?

Nope, and it's not even close.

He was getting killed in his 1st playoff game and needed a complete game giving away meltdown by KC to win it.

Pretty good-yeah

Best QB in the last 40 years- no way.

so what you are saying is that any person who has ever built a superbowl winning team all have the exact same opinions on every player and he is right about every single one of his analyses? who was it again?

Yeah, the answer is pretty obviously going to be no. I'm just confused as to why it's so hard for ColtsWarrior to say it him/herself.

do you remember who he was saying made that statement? i was interested in that.
As a Colts fan, I can would like to chime in and say that Luck is not the best young QB in the last 40 years. Let's not forget Marino, Elway, and  Roethlisberger who are definitely in the conversation, as well as Manning, and Matt Ryan (who had done really well his first 3 years). Cam Newton is also doing really well, but I would say slightly less than Luck.

But a good point to be made, is that it's relatively a short list before you would get to Luck, who is just 6 games into year three. This is a testament to how well he has been playing.

I don't think he's elite.....yet. I do think; however, that he is well on his way. But not there yet. It will be fun to watch.

All I did was mention the article. And everyone got butt hurt. Honestly I already claimed I don't care where he is ranked. I am amused the need to put everything in some sort of ranked list. It's not just athletes it's everything. Dang they rank cities based on trivial issues.

Andrew Luck has returned Indy to its normal spot. A perennial contender. And actually it has very rarely missed the playoffs since 95. And that success started before Manning.

Thank you. I think most objective Jaguars fans would share this senetiment with you. I'm wondering why Ex-IndySouthsider hasn't responded to you saying:

"Why not take the word over a 3 time super bowl winning GM? Would seem they know a hell of a lot more about player development than you or I!"

Was there ever a name?

Maybe it was one of those "anonymous sources" that I see mentioned a lot in stories.

There is no way to check the credentials of an anonymous source, unless he becomes known.

You have to understand, it's very hard for some people to admit that their HERO, whom they love and adore faithfully, isn't quite seen as the same kind of hero to others, as to them.

That's just tough on them.

It's just hard for them to grasp that fact.

Charlie Casserly (the guy who drafted David Carr #1 overall).

Bill Bellicheck on Casserly:
“Who’s been wrong more than Charley Casserly since he left the Redskins? His percentage is like a meteorologist."

"He has no relationship to this team. I’d say less than zero. Based on what? He’s never at a practice, never at a game.”

That is a 3 time Super Bowl winning head coach saying that. Who are we to call a 3 time Super Bowl winning head coach wrong? O_O.
