Quote:Andrew Luck is not as advertised

Unfortunately, neither is Henne.

We know Henne sucks, but this thread isn't about Henne.
Quote:Not me. He had time to throw Monday. He missed a lot of throws. He has looked pretty average these two weeks. He has a pretty good receiving group and they were able to run the ball very effectively which should have helped him, but it didn't. He has made it to the playoffs in the worst division in the NFL. I'm jjust not seeing what others are seeing. He is above average yes. But I wouldn't say he is more then that.

You might want to check the teams they beat to get to the playoffs. Newsflash it was more than the AFCSouth teams. Teams like GB, Seattle, Denver, SF. That excuse doesn't work.

lol, that's true, but I wanted to let every know that I also thought Henne isn't as good as advertised either.

So basically there's at least 2 AFCS QB's not as good as advertised, according to some.

Quote:My wife and I used to play a game when Favre was playing:  How many times will the announcers say his name?  We would have made it a drinking game, but we didn't want to leave our children as orphans.
Really funny!

Of course it still works. It makes a big difference when you are playing in the worst division in football especially when that makes up 6 of your games. Never said they didn't beat good competition.
912 yards and 9 touchdowns through 3 games.

Quote:I predict they will have similar stats this season. We can take a look around week 5 and 6 and see who was right.

Lol....

League leader in TDs

Yup. Got me off to a great start in my 6pt passing TD fantasy league. I can't believe some people compare him to Tannehill and honestly think statements like that are nothing more than trolling.

Because they don't want him to be good. Want is not going to do them any good.

Negative.......
Say what you want.  The guy is pretty darn good.  We can live in denial all we want.  You just can't look at the stats when it comes to Andrew Luck.  He is that whole team.  They would be nowhere without him.

They would be better without him. King's Ransom + Peyton > Luck any day of the week. Sorry

Thinking Manning is playing how many years? How many championships Manning got not wearing the Shoe?

You don't think Colts would've won another ring or two with Peyton? Right now I'd take Peyton over Luck without the ransom. The ransom would just be the icing on the cake. I suppose the now doesn't matter to some though, I'm sure Luck will have multiple Super Bowl appearances as he's been crowned the GOAT

It's better than becoming the Dolphins after Marino, the Broncos after Elway, jags after Brunell. So yeah we worry about the future. And the now is pretty alright.
