Quote:You don't think Colts would've won another ring or two with Peyton? Right now I'd take Peyton over Luck without the ransom. The ransom would just be the icing on the cake. I suppose the now doesn't matter to some though, I'm sure Luck will have multiple Super Bowl appearances as he's been crowned the GOAT
He hasn't even one with the Broncos.  What makes you think he would win one with the Colts.
Quote:yeah for another year or two.  what happens then?

sorry

No point in arguing with stupid. And Haterade = stupid.

Also, if stroudcrowd decides to pop his head in here, he's not very bright either. Should avoid him.
Quote:Say what you want.  The guy is pretty darn good.  We can live in denial all we want.  You just can't look at the stats when it comes to Andrew Luck.  He is that whole team.  They would be nowhere without him.

You know something has to be pretty obvious if it is something you and I agree on.
Quote:Lol....

So for the record, when cousins has a good game against the jaguars it's pithy but when luck does it its remarkable?

Glad I am always on your mind.

I like Bortles ceiling better than Luck.

P.S. I sat next to a clot fan on the airplane with some serious B.O. Tell your people it is OK to shower after watching a football game in 90 degree weather before getting on an airplane.

Lets be honest Luck had a good game but certainly didn't look any better than Cousins last week

Luck = Cousins > RG3 ?

Yeah!!!

Luck only had 120 more yards, 2 more touchdowns, better completion %, on the road... but yeah! They played the same!

Aren't you guys the ones usually obsessed with stats, too?  Laughing

I'm simply laughing that you think Tannehill will stack up favorably to Luck statistically. Either you are trolling Colts fans or you need to follow a different sport.

We'll see.

A lot of decent QB's have shredded the jags. I'm sure you were surprised how wide open a lot of the catches were and also the easy YAC. The stats actually surprised me as he was really dinking and dunking game managing as usual.

I think we have the gunslinger and you guys have the game manager. Can see Bortles throwing plenty of ints this season because of it.

Is Nicks the only TD your wide receivers have so far? It's all been TE's and RB's hasn't it?

Don't cry because jags TE are terrible. Must have missed the pass in the first series. No dinking or dunking just an elite QB.
We have made every QB look like a hall of famer this year.

Yeah i'm not sure the Colts fans realise this.

Jags top 2 tight ends are injured. He's a game manager though whether it is his natural game or the system he is in
Good chance Luck will be the #1 in TD, 3rd in yards, 6th in rating after tonight's game.

That's good. I see we are on week 3. Lets see how his stats are at the end of the season. Or are you also expecting Bradshaw to carry on his pace of 16 receiving TD's?

Bortles is averaging 4TD's a game if you extrapolate his half a game.

Hurns is on pace for 16 td's as an undrafted rookie. He must be the next Randy Moss

Do you honestly think Luck played well week 1 or 2? Or do you think him throwing to his running backs inside the 5 and scoring a few fantasy points means he played well?

If you fancy cherry picking a stat, how about his YPA? good for 17th in the league? Making Matt Ryan, Andy Dalton and Ryan Fitzpatrick the best 3 qb's in the league. Bit early yes?
Andrew Luck is the slightly older version of Blake Bortles.

Once Blake was in the game he looked much like Luck did in his first few starts of 2012. Some great athletic plays, some good throws, and some picks trying to make a play.

In Luck's first seven games in the NFL he had 7 TDs and 7 INTs, and finished the 2012 season he ended up 23 TDs and 18 INTs.

I'm thinking Bortles probably has a similar number of INTs and a few more TDs because I think our WR corps is better.

Personally I like Matt an Andy. I think they are in the upper tier of QB's. And I think 7.2 is pretty decent YPA. The leader is going to finish around 8. So your pov is that YPA is the single most important stat? I think it is a key stat yes, but not the most important. That would be TD's and TD:int ratio. Oh and Andrew is close to 70% completion. Anything less than 65 for the year and I will be disappointed.
After looking at schedules and bye weeks (which i should have done in the first place) it would make sense to compare the two qbs after miami plays the jaguars in week 8, so at that point we can stack up their numbers and see how it looks.

Well if he is still starting. Some rumbling about benching him.
