I'm giving him more of a chance
Walker would have made a fine pick in the fourth or fifth round where you're looking for guys that can contribute. He looks like a guy who will never be more than an athletic contributor who occasionally make a play, but not often enough to get a big payday.

He looks better than chaisson lol

Same sack numbers while Chassion has way less playing time this year. Just saying
Watching Hutchinson tonight and realizing just how much of a mistake the Jags made when they selected Trevon Walker.
Hutch was the pick as a pass rusher.. Walker is more suited for our scheme (I guess) as a guy that can rush or cover from anywhere on the line. Not to mention the Lions look like a fairly balanced and complete team that is disciplined and well coached. We look like a dumpster fire in all phases and facets of the game.

Ouch
Hutch with 1.5 sacks last night
I still have faith Trévonne becomes more of a disruptor in the backfield. If not, he’s a solid defensive player. An expensive defensive player, but solid.

I guess that is better than being a gaseous defensive player.

Those would be the offensive players.

Are we going to do this every time Hutch has a good game?

Let's get over it.

Coulda, woulda, shoulda.

Still, Treyvaughn ain’t bad.
Walker is basically another version of Tyson Alualu.   He won't go down as a total bust but is probably equivalent to what a team would expect from a 3rd round draft pick.

I just heard one analyst mention Hutch in the same sentence with TJ Watt and the Bosa borthers.....

Kind of sad though, that if we're ranking recent 1st round defensive picks, he may be the best as we've had some real busts of recent past in Taven Bryan, Chaisson, and CJ Henderson.  Sad
Treyvon sucks. And yes, he will be compared to Hutchinson until he retires.

Screw Baalke.
People are looking at the sacks stats like it's the most important.

Oline and Dline do the dirty job and it doesn't translate in the box scores. Too bad some of the fans are not smart enough to understand it.
This is exactly the same guy we now have, 2 years later....

I don't think the Ravens would have been successful with Ray Lewis trying to rush the passer most of the time.   IMO Trevon should be used as a MLB.   He doesn't appear to have any swim moves to get past the blocker protecting the QB.

As a guy whose main purpose is to stop the run...I think Trevon could excel.

He's not a true pass rusher.

Truth!  Seems like we haven't gotten 1st round value at DLine since Stroud and Henderson.

Talk about an irrational overreaction! He does not. His number of pressures (more important and a better indication of impact) is good. If you’re going to hate, hate on Baalke and Pederson for taking a premier lineman and going “Nope. We’re going to make him an outside linebacker.” Not to mention, the coaching hasn’t developed him.

Travon will be fine. Deploy him and coach him correctly.
