I'm waiting to see what happens Tuesday if trump is the only one left standing I'll be a relectunt supporter. Have to focus on the primary objective keep Hillary out of the white house.

Woot, we got Eric onboard the Trump Train. If we can get Eric onboard, we can get anyone, even rollerjag. Together, we can reveal the corruption of the subversive uniparty establishment and MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!

I'll take two!!
It seems that at least one political science professor thinks that trump winning is inevitable.

I'm not sure that I buy it.  I think the story will be told after next Tuesday.  I'll maintain my support for Rubio, Cruz and (reluctantly) Trump at this point in that order.  There is no way that I can support either democrat candidate.

My guess is that Kasich and Carson are still in it because they are playing towards a VP position.

I believe that a Rubio/Kasich ticket would be the winning ticket.  A couple of candidates with conservative values with a history of compromise (working across party lines).

Next good ticket would be Cruz/Carson.  A couple of conservatives that go against "the establishment" of both parties with values and vision along with what I agree with.

I can live with either of those and would be happy with either of those.

Trump/?  That's a question that nobody brings up at this point.  Who would be the potential running mate?  The goal at this point is not just to defeat Hillary, but be what is best for the country in general.  While I think that Trump would be good in some aspects of the job, I don't think that he would do well in other aspects.

It's kind of sad really... the nomination and election of our countries leaders had become more of a popularity contest rather than electing someone that will actually do good.

I think they prefer Mexican Americans.. Jeez..
I think I might vote Trump, not because I believe anything he says nor do I believe he believes everything he says...really I'd only vote him just for the lulz.  Realistically anyone who becomes president will not change "business as usual", so the way I see it, Trump at least offers something in the form of entertainment.

This is what a lot of his supporters see as well and what I think his campaign is built on, and people still think they are crazy for supporting him.
I am just hung up on the contradiction of saying Trump can't be bought but not reconciling that with the fact that he has bought off politicians. That is like saying "well the coal baron bought off the mayor and made decisions only to the benefit of the coal baron and the rest of us got boned. I got an idea! We should elect....the coal baron!" That doesn't mean the coal baron isn't a scumbug. You just saved him some money.

That said, I fully expect Trump to probably be the first person in the door at Hillary's inauguration party. They are pals after all.

Any way you look at it, he's an outsider compared to career politicians. That's not a bad thing.

Trump will dissect Hillary at a debate, there will be no punches pulled.

She could walk out there and just pantomime for an hour and still likely come out being viewed as the winner. Until Trump actually talks about policy, he will get smoked in the general election. I am no fan of Hillary either.
Why do people think Hillary is bulletproof in the general election?

Ask the general public if they even know about her email situation or even know what Benghazi is. I think you will find that young people either don't know or don't give a crap. Couple that with people who will vote along party lines no matter what.

That is why I think she is bulletproof.

It will all come to the front in the general election. I just feel she is move vulnerable than the media makes her out to be.

Ok, but you were saying that they are buddies or whatever. Whether or not the debates have an effect is a totally different issue.

The pictures of them hamming it up together would lead me to believe they are pals.
