He's actually pretty close to center. Building the wall is already a matter of law for crying out loud.
All he does is win, win, win no matter what.

He's building a wall and Mexico will pay up.
Trump's path to the GOP nomination has been outright amazing if you think about it. He is like the political version of the Little Engine that Could. Truly an inspiration to young people everywhere sending the message if you  want it enough and put in the hard work, you can do anything you want.

The White House Correspondence Dinner was a disaster.  Did anyone actually watch the entire thing?  I thought the Secret Service was supposed to prevent bombs from going off so close to the President.  That comedian, (if he can truly be called that after watching his poor performance),  Larry Wilmore was a total embarrassment to the entire country.  I truly hope that the international community didn't have to witness that tank.

It was the one time where I think even Dennis Miller would probably be funnier and that is saying a lot.  I didn't even know who Larry was prior to this performance which is the only reason I watched it.  The President was funny at times, which I guess made it worth watching...

Man it was literally like torture,

Screw waterboarding make our enemies have to listen to Larry Willmore's jokes!

You watched the dinner? I didn't even know it was on TV? Why would anyone want to watch it?
I was bored, and thought it might be entertaining.  The President's part was funny at times, and worth the watch.  The Larry part was simply torture, but funny to watch because of how bad he did ... in the awkwardness in the room as he continued to bomb (tell bad jokes).

I wonder if the new President Donald Trump will continue the dinners and whom he will have as his comedian (Chris Rock maybe)?

Who will Donald Trump pick as his running mate (VP)?  IMO, Condoleezza Rice would make a very strong candidate.  Of course his former competition might be considered such as Dr. Ben Carson, Chris Christie, Senator Ted Cruz & even possibly Marco Rubio, I am not sure if Kasich would be considered or not.

You can't not consider Newt Gingrich whom would act like  Joe Biden running mate was for Obama in that he has tons of experience & insider support for an outsider (inexperienced candidate might help get more votes from the GOP), not really somebody I would want though.

He might get a 4 star General to eliminate any talk of lack of military experience or foreign affairs (of course Mrs. Rice would do that too).

It needs to be a strategic pick of someone who can appeal to the voters he appears to be weakest with. A female running mate who can help drive home to Hillary's female supporters just how corrupt and crooked she is would be a wise pick for Donald. Rice would be great. Oprah maybe? I feel like it needs to be a female. That rules out Bruce Jenner.

I like Christie and Carson, but don't think they would be a good running mate. He doesn't need someone like him. He needs a polar opposite IMO.

To me Rice would be a slam dunk, as she is the former Secretary of State, (before Hilary Clinton), National Security Advisor & a Russian intelligence guru.  {Plus she always said she wishes she could be the NFL Commish, so she's got that going for her}.  By having her it would weaken Hilary & the Dems chant of him being a sexist or racist (their go to cards with all GOP candidates) & weaken him not having foreign affairs experience. She makes the most sense but has said that she didn't want to run for office in the past.

I love Dr. Ben Carson and wouldn't be upset with the pick, but the only problem with him is his lack of political experience & that he's too nice during debates.  That being said he was always friendly with Trump and they almost seemed early on to have made a deal for VP for each other.

The problem with Ted Cruz is how badly they both talked about each other, but he did win most of the west & Maine (still scratching my head on that one).  He has senate experience and had a lot of the same views as Donald Trump.  If he gives up all his delegates on the first vote it will be a huge land slide in the first  vote.  The problem besides the divided sides among both supporters is that Donald might win his voters despite the rhetoric as time passes in this election.  The other problem is his Canadian birth, the Donald said that the other side could sue over it.. how does he back peddle if he picks him as a VP?

The problem with Macro Rubio is the same as above between the campaign negativity as both fought to defeat the Donald, but he is very favorable among the Hispanics which the Donald could use help with in the general election.  The problem with that is Rubio partly lost because of his flip flop on the immigration issues which is the Donalds strongest issues beside trade wars.  He is also seen as establishment.  I would not want this option the most, as I really don't like or trust Rubio.  The other problem is Rubio said he retired from politics, which the left would say is a lie & that he's a quitter, etc.

It makes a lot of sense going with Kasich in that he is very favorable among Democrats & Independents but a lot of the people that would vote for Kasich over Hilary will probably vote for Hilary over Donald despite Kasich being the VP.  He brings economy and experience to the equation but most feel the Donald will be better at the economy & don't trust Kasich because of being seen as an insider.  On the plus side Kasich really hasn't said anything overly negative about Trump and it wouldn't be so crazy for Donald to pick him.

We can rule out Lindsey Graham as simply laughable.  He has done everything he could possible to defeat Trump and failed miserably as he did in debates.

In regards to Sarah Palin, while she has endorsed him many felt that she was the reason McCain lost & I doubt he would pick her.

I would've thought that Rudy Giuliani would be high on the list but he didn't want to officially endorse Trump because he didn't want to campaign for him even though he would vote for him.  Makes me think that he would decline the offer.

I wonder if Scott Brown Senator of Massachusetts would be considered for the younger good looking vote (I dont think he is but he was voted that by Cosmopolitan magazine-who still reads that anyways).  Much like President Bush (sr) had done with his VP because of his fear of his age being a negative & sex appeal.  I think its a silly reason to pick a VP, but could actually win him some women votes.

Admiral John Richardson Chief of Naval Operations (CNO) 55, hails from Petersburg, Virginia. He graduated with a degree in physics from the U.S. Naval Academy in 1982. Richardson also holds master's degrees from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution, and the National War College.

Who ever Donald Trumps picks as his VP, will be one of the most important choices in his life.  It can make or break your run for President not only because of how people will or wont vote because of it, but because it shows his decision making & allows people to decide if that is the kind of person they would want as President & VP.
Donald Trump only needs around a 190 delegates to win out right, and California has 172 Winner-Take-All in which he is leading the polls by a lot for a long time there.

Along with all the other states showing him winning in the polls... it seemed so over whelming to Ted, I assume he saw that & realized it was pointless to drag it out especially with his job in the Senate waiting for him.

That's why I don't understand these floating trial balloons re Rick Scott as his VP. What a giant mistake that would be.

I know Florida is very important, but is Scott all that popular anyway?

I don't think the Prince of Crony Capitalism and a crook/"businessman" would be a very appealing ticket.
The Trump / Clinton showdown is going to be over before it starts.  The Clintons are totally out of touch with anything real.

For any Warhammer 40k fans

Yeah, that's why Bill was a two term President.

Which states will The Donald turn from blue to red? And you think New York billionaire Donald is in touch with reality? When did that happen?

Who cares?  The question is, who is Hillary going to select as VP?

I think the Donald has been paying very close attention to poll data (like he does with Market research with his businesses) and probably wanted people talking about who he should pick so he could see whom would be the most favorable person to go with according to the public.
