LOL   Laughing  I get all kinds of comments from people that come out to our property.  I'm on a tractor doing stuff or using a chain saw while my wife is doing a lot of the manual labor (picking up logs to feed the splitter, etc.).  They don't realize that driving a tractor is VERY hard work and taxing.

Working foot pedals while turning the wheel both left AND right? That’s man’s work, there.

Well, it's not like the left AND right turning are both happening at once.

PS  I love running a tractor, mowing down nature with a brush hog.  Sometimes I even steer with one hand, while working the bucket controls with the other!

I hate to say it but I am probably going to have to do the same thing myself. Can't wait for this day to end already. Ready to grab a 12 pack and nurse this nonsense away for a few hours (hopefully) this weekend. Wish you the best of luck with the hunt. Just don't pick-up any bad habits in Dallas. Such as becoming a Cowboy's fan.

Well, I have my first actual interview with Wells Fargo in Westlake (just outside of Ft. Worth and the area where my youngest works).  I've actually gotten through the 'first phase' of three of the applications out there but this is the first time I will actually be speaking to someone.  Now the only problem is, how all of the COVID bull [BLEEP] is going to affect getting out there should I be offered a job.   Sad

Not to mention the added expense of buying all new Cowboys swag. Wink

Its warm enough this week for pineapple and Malibu on the beach!
That was weird. I had the sudden and unexplainable urge to pull up Lido Shuffle and listen to it at uncharacteristic volume.

At what volume do you characteristically listen to it?

Oh, in the usual way.
Well, interview today at 2:15 for that job in Ft. Worth. Ya know, it's almost senseless to do this interview. Even if they offer me the job, how am I going to get out to Texas? How will I sell my house? When I started applying for these jobs I didn't have some [BLEEP] pandemic to contend with. Oh well, I guess I do the interview and play it by ear. Since it is IT work, maybe they'll let me work from home until things get better. Guess we'll see.

I would be willing to bet they’ve got that contingency covered already.

Yeah, you’re probably good Rico.  I think they’d work with you.  Maybe not let you work from home right off the bat, but then again, there could be dozens in the area equally qualified that can start when they need it.  I know you and Caldrac are having a piss poor time at your current place, but if it’s meant to be, it’s meant to be.  Good luck on the job search.
I wish I could work from home.

“Thank you for choosing “Xxxxxxx Lawn Care”. Your goat will be delivered on xx-xx-20.

Or I can upside down a drone. Idk how I’d edge or trim it. But considering grass will make a set of 3 18” steel blades dull after a week, not sure the drone thing would work.

And... how in the hell does grass tear up some heavy [BLEEP] steal blade? This blade is commercial grade. A set off three is heavy and measures 3/4 inch and weighs 6.8 lbs. seriously!?
[BLEEP]. Just saw the olympics were postponed. Now I have to wait to watch women’s beach volleyball. Smh

They're absolutely starting to use drones in my field. Once we have it down, it won't be too far behind in yours.
