With a tuxedo, a white tie is actually more formal than black.

For a tuxedo, yes it is.

They "kinda" suggest? Man, that means you can rock the Chuck Taylor's and some cutoffs.

If you do wear black though, I would recommend a white shirt and black vest / waistcoat for the California heat. It lets you go away from the tie but still look formal. Plus, you'll stand out almost as much as HomerMyBiscuit in his little black dress.

Whoops! They "kindly" suggest. It's in Mid-Oct and outside of CA, clueless to how hot it will be. I don't normally do black suits but I have one - with very very faint pinstripes. Not entirely sure about that.

You can get a vest / waist coat (a coat that don't have no sleeves so it is mistaken a lot of times for a vest) for about $20 on Amazon. Just sayin'.
Are we there yet...are we there yet...are we there yet?
A friend of mine just had hip replacement surgery.  He got this at the hospital.  Thought it was pretty humorous/clever.

Ha, thanks Bunnie, I definitely do not. Formal usually indicates tuxedo to me but I think what they were going for was semi-formal i.e. black suit.

Beach - Khakis, polo or dress shirt, flip flops
Rico - Cargo Shorts, Hawaiian Shirt, white socks, sandals (golf spikes if the ceremony is outdoors)

Snapped this pic of you at the tailgate last week.

I’m shocked and a little disheartened at this portrayal of me. I don’t know if you’re serious, or not. You have no idea what you’re talking about. Crocs??

The absence of a denial of the Daisy Duke's is duly noted.

Maybe it was both!
Someone in my office building has a ringtone that is the exact same tone as the building's fire alarm/evacuation signal. How [BLEEP] stupid do you to be to choose that as your ringtone?
The warm weather has ruined me. It's 17C right now and I'm sitting in my study wearing a sweater and a beanie because I was cold without either.
I'm at the airport to catch my flight to PA.

You know...they have beer in here.
