Yep. Skynet creepy. My husband has been watching these for a couple of years now. It was cool at first but creeps me out now. Way too human-like for my taste.
I wonder if they can do “the Robot”?

I don't know why, I just crack up when I see robots doing 'the mashed potato'.  I shouldn't drink so much.
We had a birthday bash for our three oldest children at Harry’s restaurant in St. Augustine last night. The food is stupendous. You know it’s good when everyone is sampling food from each other’s plates.

I love Harry’s. I wish they hadn’t closed all the ones in Jacksonville!

Back when The Tonight Show was about the guest, not the host of the show.

Yeah, Johnny was the best ever.

I've seen a few interviews with Clint Eastwood, where he talks about his experiences doing those Sergio Leone movies, and it's very interesting.  He brought his own wardrobe overseas, he went out and bought the little cigars himself, and they got around the Italian laws against working on the Sunday by claiming to be Jewish.  All the actors spoke different languages and half the time one actor wouldn't actually know what another actor was saying.  Stuff like that.  And he didn't know the movie had been released in the United States because they had changed the name from The Magnificent Stranger to Fistful of Dollars.

When he said Fistful of Dollars was held up in the United States by litigation, it was because the plot was stolen, without permission, from the Kurosawa movie Yojimbo.   So Kurosawa sued Sergio DeLeone and I think it finally settled out of court for some sum of money.

I'll bet for a fistful of dollars.  Laughing I'll be here all night. Lol
Reconnected with an old friend I've known since elementary school on Facebook yesterday. I know we haven't seen each other in over 10 years since he and his wife moved to West Virginia. Apparently, he's doing real well for himself now driving a tractor trailer for a living. Anyway, after a nice long chat through Facebook messenger, we agreed to stay in touch more often and we're planning on doing lunch the next time he's up my way. It will be good seeing him again and I'm looking forward to it. We used to do everything together. We built each other's cars and raced and all that good stuff back in the 1970's, 1980's. Good times back then.

Akira Kurosawa: "Fistful of Dollars?  Yeah, fistful of dollars for ME, you THIEF!"

I saw Yojimbo many years ago, and it was almost the exact same plot, basically.  It had Toshiro Mifune as a wandering samurai.

I'll have to check that out. I love Clint Eastwood. He's always seemed like an easygoing dude. His being a conservative in a very liberal Hollywood hasn't hurt his reputation as being a solid actor and director.

I thought I'd be really sad when Sean Connery died but I wasn't because he left the scene a long time ago. Eastwood is still making movies and when he passes it's going to be a very sad time. Very sad.
