Yeah.  Let me get all the pre and post grotesque ones uploaded.  I'm at Dairy Queen waiting for my Blizzard right now.  

OK, these are because flsprtsgod asked for them.

This is when I was in the ER before they popped it back into the joint.  It's kind hard to tell but my foot is pointing at around 2:00 from where it should be.

These are the staples on the inside of the ankle.  I was kind of surprised that this wan't the big incision, this is where all of the pain was.

And this was the outside of the leg.  It was quite the pleasant experience when they were pulling the staples out of these things.

If I giggle a little every time I see or hear JOI mentioned, do I know too much about porn?

Wow, you can really see the displacement in the joint. I'm kinda surprised you don't have any hardware on the outside of the ankle, I'd expect to see some support to keep you from banging it around too much. You went through the wringer friend.

By the time my wife took the picture of my ankle, I was so loopy on morphine it wasn't hurting too much.

I'm in a boot.  Still no weight on it for at least five weeks.  The thing that really sucks is we are on vacation to go to Pennsylvania at the end of May.  I kinda have to go because it's my wife's birthday and her daughter and I have a huge shindig planned...not to mention the fact that I had it catered (and pain for it).  We were going to drive up and take our time and do some sightseeing.  There's no way I can tolerate the sightseeing...let alone the 14.5 hours in the car.  I can only keep my foot 'non-elevated' for about 20 minutes before it starts to throb.  It ain't very fun.  

So I just made flight reservations and we'll fly up five days later.  That's going  to be a 'test' in itself.  At least I'll get boarding priority.      

The timing of this whole thing just sucks.  I'm going to miss so much stuff that I had already planned and some I had already paid for.  Hell, I'm hoping it'll be good enough to get into the games by the time the season rolls around.  I was pissed at at the world for four or five days.  I guess I've gotten over that for the most part.  I know there are people that have it worse than me...doesn't make it suck any less.
