I think it was a total of 15 beans, not 15 different beans Big Grin Laughing

Following the recipe on the package, adding a half teaspoon of cumin and a little extra salt. Excellent.

It's easier than calling it 12 Bean, 2 Legumes, and 1 Lentil Soup.
Went to Gatlinburg for vacation over the weekend, for the first time. Had a good time, especially hiking the trails in the national park. But Good God, with the number of people downtown over the weekend I'm not quite sure that I'd go back again.

We love it and make it from time to time. Ditch the ham and add some andouille and jalapeno for good measure. Server over corn bread. Afterwards we take necessary precautionary measures.

What do you think is keeping Dorian in the Bahamas?

You’re welcome.

Pretty spot, but getting around town or finding a place to park is a nightmare.  Did you take a drive through Cades Cove?

Didn't get to Cades Cove.  Just did the trails right around Gatlinburg. We left early because this storm was supposed to be so horrific.  If I go back again, it will not include weekends downtown.  Thursday and Friday were fine.  Saturday and Sunday...what a [BLEEP] nightmare.  At least I got my moonshine.
Gonna just lock myself in my room for the next 5 days and Howard Hughes it.

Going to be leaving *a bit* of crop in the field this year. I'm vexed.

Seriously can't even watch the guys pull the fruit out.

Sorry to hear that. Weather? Pestilence?

Thanks HB. Looks like a Botrytis infection. Rare in my area, but I have one small block of a cultivar vulnerable to it. One rain back in late May is all it took.

All in all I might lose 15 or 20% on was was looking to be a really good crop for that block. But I almost always lose some to *something* with those - they're very touchy.

You'll get it down, eventually. I mean, it's only been what, 3 years since it was legalized?  Wink

The wife and I ate at Longhorn's this evening. I always feel so wonderfully sated when I walk out of there.

Most do after a long horn.  Or so I’ve been told.

By other people.  With long horns.
I've lost 37 pounds.

Excuse me while I hurt my shoulder patting myself on the back.

Anything you did in particular? I seem to have found what you lost.
