Thanks for the reminder HB. I happened to have extra insulation. Reminded me to wrap the pipes. All I have exposed is the back flow from the irrigation. I added towels for extra measure. Will be letting my faucets drip.

WD, I do not wrap gifts for the pup. My dog has zero interest in toys. Very food driven through. So I buy some “special treats” her stocking.



Have the house to myself tonight. Went to Publix and Winn Dixie. Holy shot. Was going to get a ribeye or filet. Screw that. Too busy. So.. I’m trying to grill my first ever frozen steak. It’s a ribeye. Never done it. I’ve read on here that some swear by it. We’ll see. I’m excited for it, though.

Pull the screen up you want saved... open the snipping tool. Mark the area you want then save file. To post on this mesage board, you need to upload the file to a server then post here

Pull the screen up you want saved... open the snipping tool. Mark the area you want then save file. To post on this mesage board, you need to upload the file to a server then post here

By upload to a server, you mean FB, Twitter, instagram etc..?

‘Ppreciate the wisdom.  I don’t have any SM accounts nor, the will to create an account to post an image. But I do certainly appreciate how to advise.  Maybe one day.

It's 10° on my porch. That's just a tad bit chilly. I forgot to dump the water from the bird bath yesterday so it's frozen solid and the birds are confused. Lol. It won't get above freezing today so they'll have to go somewhere else for water.

If it's going to be this dang cold we may as well have snow so it's frigid and pretty. 

Oh, and Duke has said there could be rolling blackouts lasting 15-30 minutes to preserve the grid. Merry Christmas Eve, peasants! Lol

I smell rum cake in the oven..

My neighbor just dropped off some peanut brittle and some kind of coconutty, brownie, chocolate chip thingies.  They were all good.  Hey, they lasted a good 20 minutes.

It’s probably actually for my wife.  I don’t know who the hell half of these people are that are coming to the door.

On an unrelated note, I just realized this will be the first two days that I’ll be able to sit on my [BLEEP] and watch NFL for two solid days, since the course is closed.

OK, I'm flying down to Jax on 12/30..... (I hate flying but only thing I could book at the last minute, usually travel by Amtrak).... Going to be spending NYE down there with a friend of mine...... Give me a chance to get out of this freaking cold Maryland weather for a few days
