Because no one on this board has claimed that Trevor is even close to perfect. Read this next part slowly.
He has made bad decisions. Bad reads. Bad throws. SHOCKER. He’s a rookie. Mac Jones had a stretch where he was playing really bad football too.
But Trevor can absolutely turn it around. And I’m not gonna tell you where I read this because you’ll likely scoff at it but I read this yesterday as to why a lot of people are still positive about Trevor.
“Mental Makeup, skill set, football intelligence, work ethic and A REALIZATION OF THE EXTENT OF DIFFICULTY OF HIS SITUATION”.
There was a play broken down in tape that had Trevor’s first read be far left after rolling right and then his second read is back across the field. What?! That’s setting up a young QB to fail.
And if you can’t grasp that because you have this overwhelming feeling to be the first one to call him a bust, then do everyone a favor and stop posting about it. And when Trevor turns it around next year, I’ll be sure to remind you as often as possible about how wrong you were. Or you could just boycott…..

You have lost any sort of credibility you could have hoped to build, and you literally hear whatever you want to hear. Your video said he is "more raw than expected." It also STILL called him a generational QB and the most talented QB who has come out in years. I have no idea how you came away from that video thinking it agrees with you.
The fact that someone's argument has boiled down to labeling anyone who is patient with Trevor as "nut huggers" tells you all you need to know about said person's quality of stance, or lack thereof.

how about we account for all the crap this team had to deal with. No Rookie QB could come into this Dumpster Fire and succeed. the Playcalling isn't setting up the WRs to win. no short plays for the QB. no game planning. i guess that's what you get from a college coach who put this organization back a couple years at least with his antics like it was College, From not having Trevor take all Preseason Snaps as #1, to not starting Cisco and Little. Benching the only player on offense who hasn't done anything wrong.
if these receivers make some plays for their QB i bet we look very different. if we pull out wins in ARI,CIN and Indy when we were so close to winning. the confidence this team would have would be so much more.
the fact that Trevor hasn't just mailed it in among all the distractions shows his mental toughness.
we need a real Coach and a Real OC and then we can see what we really have in Lawrence.

Because relocation was bought up.... Khan sucks as a football owner but for city building he could prove to be genius if he can get the city to move on his plans.
I am in Texas but I have a long long standing 904 J'ville number because I am the only one to ever have the number and it was from the early BellSouth Mobility days. I am getting bombed with property sale requests. Jacksonville is in the top 10 for relocation from crap states right now. The costs are relatively good and it is a good jumping off point for lots of nice destinations. The market isn't going to stay small over time.
Now if the owner could just fix his hiring practices.
