I was high on Lawrence before the season and even early during the season. Only when Lawrence started playing like a bum is when I started voicing my concerns.
Do I want Lawrence to fail? Not at all. In fact my post history prior to this thread proves your statement is a load of crap.
I wanted to see a great franchise QB but instead I saw a rookie who had a very poor year. I called him out on it and that's when the nut huggers attacked.
Dammed if I do and damned if I don't in this thread. I post good things about Lawrence and attacked.
The Lawrence nut *mod edit* like to twist my words but my view is still the same as page 1 so let me reiterate again.
I have major concerns about Lawrence being our franchise QB. He has the talent but I need to see it consistently on the field. 1 game against the Colts does not erase the whole year.
Lawrence made enough bad throws every game that gives me concern. He gets his rookie mulligan but 12 Td passes in 17 games is horrendous. Despite the nut huggers blaming it all on receivers and protection he had way more than his fair share of bad throws.
Nothing left to be said or proved until next year.

I just want to add while watching this GB 49ers game......If adams is a FA, Pay Him what he wants. Catching balls low, sidelines etc. will help this offense and Trevor tremendously but nothing shocking. Enjoy the playoffs.

Look at what Burrow has done year 2. Let's get Trevor the right supporting cast. This is a team game. We saw in the final Colts game what he can do when things are going smoothly around him. He has an elite skillset, and we can build around that for years to come.

If we can Baalke and get Leftwich in at HC... he'll be saved.
if Baalke stays, he'll be off the team in less then 3 years and fighting to be a backup QB on another team and wait his next opportunity.
