Nothing new in this thread. Continue this next year. Cause if we are judging Lawrence on his entire rookie year, it overall was very poor. Mac Jones had a great overall rookie year. Nothing has changed. There is literally nothing in this thread that will change til next year.

I called that one.

Far too easy.

Yeah...Jones was 'great' this year.

Your such a useless troll. Yes he was this year. He should be rookie of the year. Go look at his numbers. I watched that entire Buffalo whooping over the pats.  That loss was much more on new England's defense not able to stop Buffalo's offense.

Jones had a 90+ rating this year. Insane!

Lawrence had a 72 rating

If you choose to be naive and beat your chest over one game go ahead.

If you called it, that means some part of your small bird brain has common sense.

Tired of serving you. Back to ignore list. My IQ drops reading your useless post.

Mac Jones over the last six games, including the layup vs the team the Jaguars signed off the street on the Saturday before the game, has 8 TDs (mostly in garage time) and 7 INTs.
Excluding the Jaguars game it's 5 and 7, but I doubt you want to throw it out, regardless of what a ridiculous game it was from a roster standpoint.
In those games he threw for about 6.6 YPA, 6.4 if you take out the Jags game.
Over the last six games he had 60.7% completion, 58.1% without the Jags.

What's the point? He wasn't good, he just was on a much better team than Trevor, and when opponents forced the game into his hands he couldn't do anything outside of garbage time.

The only games he notched as wins over the last six were the Jaguars, a fielded team that the Jaguars' own regular starters probably would have beaten soundly, and a Buffalo game in which he completed 2 passes.

Still, Jaguars should have taken him instead of Trevor, right?
This dude actually just said Mac should be rookie of the year LOL.

Pretty obvious he has no clue who Ja'Marr Chase is, or what he did this season.

Not surprising though, he doesn't know much when it comes to football regardless, as we've seen over and over again.

You have a funny definition of 'great'.

Oh nooooooooo.  I'm so hurt, back to the block list with 75% of the board.

Waaaaah.  If I don't agree with you I'm blocking.  Soft.

I'm still curious how 92.5 quarterback rating is 'great'.  15th in the league is great?  It's pretty much dead-center average.  But that's too tough for him to figure out since Jones is 'great'.
Jones had an excellent rookie campaign, but Trevor has a much higher ceiling.

Probably just quietly adds me to his ignore list.

What makes you think he ever does that quietly?

Regardless of his propensity for loud pronouncements he's failed to acknowledge several of my posts, now, since he failed to add his, "should have drafted Jones," take to his sig. So either he's a wimp or already ignored me so he doesn't have to read anymore scary facts (probably both).

I think Chase should be the winner if you go back and look at what he's done all year with Burrow and just recently in that win over the Raiders. Parsons had an amazing year though.

Not sure what you did to get off the list, but probably not a mistake you want to make twice Wink
I'm pretty sure that Davis Mills brings the most value as QB if you could rewind the 2021 draft. 16 TD 10 INT 88.8 Pass Rating. Finished the season with a 3 TDs, 0 INTS, and 128.5 rating game against the AFC co-leader Titans. Selected in the third round, and got better as the season went on.
I know I only report the bad news according to some but....

Pff ranks Trevor as the best rookie from this draft class still. Amazing and a little shocked.
