Noted future first-ballot hall-of-famers who lack the sack-avoidance skills of TL includes Tom Brady, Aaron Rogers and Big Ben.  In fact, 78% of the playoff-bound teams have QB's that take sacks at a greater rate than TL.  It's almost as if taking a sack is yet one more important decision a QB needs to make.

1. Buffalo, third seed
2. KC, second

Please stop.  You're now trying to paint taking sacks as a positive.  It's laughable.

It's almost as if making the playoffs isn't just about whether you have a good quarterback.
Aaaaand back out of this cesspool of a thread.
Hmm... Just my opinion, but I think a list that has the best and worst QBs spread through it is probably not any sort of indication of...well...anything. The problem is that list isn't tied to anything meaningful, particularly in terms of good decisions. A QB who just randomly wings the ball down the field if he feels pressure, beats the guy who tries to stand in there to make the most out of the play until the last second. If it were tied to amount of turnovers, completion percentage, first down percentage, etc. per pressure you'd probably see something much more substantial.

lol I got on the board just to see these posts. I’m very happy with Lawrence as our QB of the future. We just need to build a team around him like the Bills did for Allan.

Allen's rookie season 52.8% comp, 2074 passing yards, 10 TD, 12 INT in 12 games. Zay Jones was his leading receiver. It was Jones' 2nd season in the league.

Allen's 2nd season 58.8% comp, 3089 passing yards, 20 TD, 9 INT in 16 games. John Brown was his leading receiver.

It wasn't until Allen's 3rd year in the league when he really took off. This was also the year they brought in Stefon Diggs. 69.2% comp, 4544 passing yards, 37 TD 10 INT in 16 games.

Lawrence's rookie season 59.6% comp, 3641 passing yards, 12 TD, 17 INT in 17 games. Marvin Jones was his leading receiver and Trevor was thrown into arguably the worst situation ANY rookie QB has ever been thrown into in NFL history. This whole situation was a mess from the jump with Meyer and nobody can deny that.

He definitely has things he needs to work on and clean up, nobody can deny that either, but one thing that's hard for QBs to develop is a real feel for the pocket. Pocket presence is key in the NFL and Lawrence already has a good feel for it.

He has shown FAR more positives in his game this season than negatives. They have got to get the guy some help around him this off season.

Status quo response:

"You can't judge him based on one game."

Why discriminate? Anyone who has sincerely expressed the sentiment should get the honor of such a title.
This thread has allowed the chuckleheads who haven’t a clue how to evaluate a rookie QB to reveal themselves as such.

No mod designations are required.

The ones that a actually continue to post when Lawrence makes their horrendous analysis look foolish week after week next year will have to lie in the bed they so diligently made here.

How's that gonna happen if everyone is blocked?    Banana
Notice he’s not even his own thread…
So now we are judging Mac Jones on one game just like Lawrence in one game. Let's pretend the other 16 or 17 games didn't happen I guess?

Nothing new in this thread. Continue this next year. Cause if we are judging Lawrence on his entire rookie year, it overall was very poor. Mac Jones had a great overall rookie year. Nothing has changed. There is literally nothing in this thread that will change til next year.
