Quote:The team loses either way. You're damned if you do, damned if you don't.

....loses until the point that they bear the fruits from their losses (Bridgewater)....
Quote:I agree that there was positives and the D played well....but wouldn't it be foolish to not take into consideration the QB they were playing against???

Agreed...though Keenum has shown some promise, he is still largely inexperienced and may only be a journeyman when all is said and done.  How in the world he could target Andre Johnson only four times I'll never know.  Locker stinks.  Had Fitzpatrick played the whole game, we'd likely have lost that one, too.

answer me tmd youve been deflecting it, wheres this teddy hype coming from? geno had more hype coming out lol.
People need to understand something with TMD: he basis his opinions of youtube highlight clips, or the first 50 seconds of a game clip.  If you notice with his posts, a prospect is either really, really good, or really, really bad -- no middle ground.  This is why nobody can take his posts too seriously.

About ninety seconds after Davis' interception I thought of this thread. You knew it was coming. Always amusing.

All the losers wanting "their" team to lose some more. For the greater good, of course.

But the losing is only worth it if the Golden Child is selected. No other draft pick will possibly succeed.

And if the Golden Child is not golden we get to read four hundred posts about how inept the front office is, or the coaches, or the weather, or something.

I'd rather see my team win.

Hype for QB's generally comes from video game stats anymore....I didn't realize the most hyped QB make the best QB, Tim Tebow....

luck and manning didnt have video game numbers.... if teddy is the best prospect since luck and manning dont you think the media would be all over it? but keep deflecting

False accusations to help your side of the argument? Are you that scared?

I've watched every Teddy game this season, but one.

Next.
Quote:1. Theoretically improvement in team area can still happen without a W.

2. I haven't seen all that much improvement. I've seen the Jags go from playing a very tough first half of their schedule, to a pretty easy 2nd half of their schedule.  Its good to be able to use perception to discern the 2. They didn't dominate the Texans, they barely beat Case friggin Keenum.....an undrafted guy who looks overmatched.
1.  It can also improve with learning how to win

2. You must be blind.  I have seen a running defense play great the last few weeks, a running game on offense improve, and young guys stepping up and making plays.

When you got an agenda you fail to see somethings.

They also played on better teams, and I've already mentioned that Teddy's slight frame lessens him in some peoples eyes. If Teddy was built like Luck or Manning, I am confident he'd be hyped right now at least close to what Luck got. Manning was a different era of hype too....that was before a lot of these mainstream gimmicky college offenses that produced video game numbers for QB's....

So shutting down the Arizona Cardinals, and Arian Foster-less running game is impressive to you?

'k....

if hes the best prospect he should be getting hype regardless of frame or whatever excuse you can come up with, seasons almost over and hes barely getting some hype if any at all.

Dare i say Gabbert had more hype then Teddy has ? :teehee:

Again, if "hype" heading into the draft was any indication of the best pro prospects than Tebow would be a 3 time ALL-PRO in the NFL by now....
Quote:The Texans & Arizona's running games have been in a state of flux pretty much all all year. It wasn't a case of the Jags shutting down Adrian Peterson, Eddie Lacy or equivalent.
you have an excuse for everything, the defense has played well, not great, the past 3 weeks, the offense is what is holding us back

....possibly, until you actually watched Gabbert play and vomited.

Wallbash  Wallbash  Wallbash
What I don't get is based on Teddy's slight frame and lanky stature, shouldn't The Attention Dog be slandering him as a midget/beanpole/streetlamp and predicting his failures based on inevitable injuries?

keep deflecting clown.  if youre gonna put teddy in the same class as luck and manning, the media should also see it, but they dont. only you. lol.

How are stating the facts (Arizona & Texans running game without Foster being less than impressive) and poor QB play (Locker/ Keenum) an "excuse"??
